Ingenio temporarily delegates the functions of its Councilor for Internal Affairs

The Illustrious City Council of Ingenio has agreed to the temporary substitution of Rubén Cruz Liria, delegated councilor for Internal Affairs, Tourism, and Media, whose functions will be assumed by Oliver de la Cruz Navarro Guerra from September 14 to October 5, 2026, both dates inclusive. This measure is adopted by Mayoral Decree number 2026/4809, dated September 10, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas number 110, dated September 14, 2026.

The resolution, signed by the mayor-president Vanesa Belén Martín Herrera, delegates to the new holder all the functions inherent to the matters assigned to the substituted councilor during the indicated period. The agreement is issued under Article 44 of the Regulation of Organization, Operation, and Legal Regime of Local Entities, which regulates the delegation of powers within municipal bodies.

Scope of the delegation

The substitution comprises the entirety of the powers delegated to the Department of Internal Affairs, Tourism, and Media, without limitation of subjects or acts. During the period of validity, the incoming councilor will exercise the powers inherent to said delegation, ensuring the continuity of municipal management in these areas.

The decree further orders the publication of the resolution in the official gazette and its notification to the interested party, all City Council departments, and the Corporate Plenary during the first session to be held.

Profile of the substitute councilor

Oliver de la Cruz Navarro Guerra already holds positions of responsibility in the consistory, as he holds the status of councilor by special delegation for Human Resources, assigned by Decree number 2026-4096, dated July 24, 2026. His incorporation into the delegation of Internal Affairs, Tourism, and Media temporarily expands his responsibilities within the municipal government team.
