Ingenio announces school grants for the 2026/2027 academic year

The Ingenio City Council has approved the call for school grants for the 2026/2027 academic year, under a competitive bidding process, through Mayoral Decree number 2026-4625, dated August 24, 2026. The call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas number 103, dated August 28, 2026, with reference 1779909.

The grants will be awarded in accordance with the applicable regulations regarding subsidies and the General Regulatory Ordinance for the Granting of Subsidies of the City Council of the Villa de Ingenio. Beneficiaries and requirements

Students from the municipality of Ingenio who are enrolled during the 2026/2027 school year in any of the following stages may be beneficiaries:

• 6th grade of Primary Education
• Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO)
• Baccalaureate (Bachillerato)
• Vocational Training Cycles

Among the required criteria are:

• A maximum age of 25 years
• Being registered (empadronadas) in the municipality of Ingenio, along with the entire family unit, for a minimum of three months, except for the exceptions provided in the guidelines
• Being enrolled in a public center within the municipality or on the island
• Meeting the economic requirements established in the regulatory guidelines

Deadline and method of submission

The deadline for submitting applications will be fifteen (15) days, from Monday to Friday, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, counted from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas.

Applications must be submitted along with the documentation required in the regulatory guidelines, and may be done:

• Electronically, through the Electronic Office of the Ingenio City Council
• In person, at the municipal registries, under the terms established in the call
