Public information for the 66 kV line variant in Tricio

The General Directorate of Business, Energy, and Internationalization of the Government of La Rioja has opened for public consultation the request for prior administrative and construction authorization, along with the declaration of public utility, for a variant of the 66 kV overhead line named ‘Santo Domingo’ in the municipality of Tricio. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja (BOR) number 193, dated October 7, 2026, with the official reference BOR-A-20261007-V–454 and file number AT/1913408. The declaration of public utility implies the necessity of occupying the affected assets and entails their urgent occupation.

The procedure is supported by articles 53, 54, and 55 of Law 24/2013, of December 26, on the Electricity Sector, and articles 125, 140, and 144 of Royal Decree 1955/2000, of December 1, which regulates the authorization procedures for electrical energy installations. The file corresponds to the Department of Economy, Innovation, Business, and Self-Employment and was signed in Logroño on September 3, 2026, by the Director General of Business, Energy, and Internationalization, Amadeo Lázaro Fernández.

The petitioning company is I-DE Redes Eléctricas Inteligentes, S.A.U., with CIF A95075578, which also requests the imposition of an easement and the urgent occupation of the properties listed in Annex I. The declared purpose of the installation is electrical distribution.

Technical characteristics of the variant

The action consists of the replacement of two supports of the 66 kV overhead line ‘Santo Domingo’ from the S.T. Haro, without modifying the ground layout and increasing the height of the conductors. The published technical data are as follows:

Overhead length: 482.5 meters.
Existing conductor to be maintained: type LA-110/116.2 mm².
Span between current support 749 and projected 767: 157.5 meters.
Span between projected supports 767 and 768: 167 meters.
Span between projected support 768 and current 769: 158 meters.
New supports: metal lattice (tower) with staggered bracing, numbered 767 (61T150+-4TA) and 768 (61T150+-4.5TA).

Affected properties and easement

Annex I of the announcement details the affected owners in the municipality of Tricio, all with cereal crops in polygon 8:

Property 1, plot 147: María Isabel Tejada Fernández, listed as the last known cadastral holder, affected by support 767 with an occupation of 2.85 x 2.85 meters.
Property 2, plot 325: María Jesús Tejada Fernández, Andrés García Hernando, and Mónica Rábanos Villoslada, affected by support 768 with an occupation of 2.90 x 2.90 meters.

The easement imposes a prohibition on the construction of permanent or provisional buildings and industrial facilities within the flight zone, as well as on the planting of trees that could compromise the regulatory safety distance. The list of holders is published without prejudice to any third party with a superior right, who must prove their title by any means of evidence admitted by Law.

Deadline and methods of consultation

The project may be examined at the Directorate General for Business, Energy and Internationalization, through the Industry, Trade and Energy Transition Service, at calle Marqués de la Ensenada, 13-15, Logroño, and in electronic format on the website www.larioja.org, under the ‘Public information of files’ section. Claims may be filed within thirty business days starting from the day following the publication of the announcement, with reference to file AT/1913408. The act will be notified to the petitioner and to the holders of the affected assets and rights, and will also be published on the municipal notice board and in the provincial newspaper with the highest circulation.

The resolution directly affects the owners of the indicated plots, who face an urgent occupation of their land, and opens a limited period to submit allegations or prove superior rights over the properties. The variant is part of the maintenance and reinforcement of the I-DE distribution network in La Rioja, with no changes to the line’s layout.
