Información pública del hidroducto Huelva-Aznalcázar, tramo del corredor Huelva-Mérida

The Industry and Energy Area of the Government Delegation in Andalusia has opened the public information process for the application for administrative authorization, approval of the execution project, and specifically, the declaration of public utility for the Huelva-Aznalcázar segment of the Huelva-Mérida hydrogen pipeline, promoted by Enagás Infraestructuras de Hidrógeno, S.L.U. The announcement is published in the Official State Gazette (Boletín Oficial del Estado) no. 241, dated September 30, 2026, section V-B (Other official announcements), page 51358, with official reference BOE-B-2026-31654 and file number 149/2026.

A project of common European interest

The action is officially named “PCI 9.1.3. Internal hydrogen infrastructure in Spain. Huelva-Mérida section, Huelva-Aznalcázar segment” and is processed under Regulation (EU) 2022/869, on guidelines for trans-European energy infrastructure, in relation to Law 34/1998, of October 7, on the Hydrocarbons sector (thirty-eighth additional provision and title V), and Royal Decree 1434/2002, of December 27, which regulates transport activities and authorization procedures for natural gas installations.

The procedure also includes the ordinary environmental assessment, in accordance with Law 21/2013, of December 9, on Environmental Assessment, and Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure. The authorization resolution corresponds to the General Directorate of Energy Policy and Mines of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, while the environmental impact statement is the responsibility of the General Directorate of Environmental Quality and Assessment of the same department.
