Info TV appoints Anthony Glennon as process adviser for rescue plan

Info TV Limited has appointed Anthony Glennon of Friel Stafford as its process adviser to prepare a Rescue Plan under Part 10A of the Companies Act 2014. The appointment was made by resolution of the company’s board of directors on 13 October 2026 and is notified in Iris Oifigiúil No. 83 of 16 October 2026.

The notice is carried in section I of the official gazette under the joint headings “Part 10A of the Companies Act 2014” and “The Companies (Rescue Process for Small and Micro Companies) Act 2021”. It is the public notification required by section 558J of the Act, the provision through which the appointment of a process adviser is given formal notice to creditors and the public.

The terms of the appointment

  • Company: Info TV Limited, Company Number 260688.
  • Process adviser: Anthony Glennon of Friel Stafford, 44 Fitzwilliam Place, Dublin 2.
  • Decision: resolution of the board of directors, 13 October 2026.
  • Statutory basis: section 558E of the Companies Act 2014, the board having been satisfied that the adviser is qualified under section 633.
  • Purpose: preparation of a Rescue Plan under Part 10A.
  • Notice dated: 13 October 2026.

The gazette records that the board was “satisfied that Anthony Glennon of Friel Stafford is qualified in accordance with section 633 of the Companies Act 2014” before making the appointment. The notice is signed by Glennon at the Fitzwilliam Place address.

A statutory rescue route for smaller companies

Part 10A of the Companies Act 2014 is the rescue process for small and micro companies, written into the Act by the Companies (Rescue Process for Small and Micro Companies) Act 2021. The appointment of a process adviser is the opening step of that procedure: the adviser’s statutory task, as the notice states, is to prepare a Rescue Plan in accordance with the provisions of Part 10A.

The published notice is confined to the fact of the appointment and its legal basis. It carries no statement of the company’s liabilities, no figure for creditor claims, no headcount for staff and no timetable for the delivery of the Rescue Plan.

A recurring notice type in the gazette

Process adviser appointments have appeared repeatedly in Iris Oifigiúil during 2026, in the same standard format:

  • Spectrum Health Limited (Company Number 405848): Declan Hanly of Crowe Ireland, board resolution of 27 July 2026.
  • Vistalite Limited (Company Number 535159): Conor Noone of Azets Ireland, 20 August 2026.
  • Code Institute Limited (Company Number 549742): Eoin Massey of Friel Stafford, 1 September 2026.
  • TalentIQ Limited (Company Number 636810): David O’Connor of BDO, 9 September 2026.
  • Navio Limited (Company Number 681041): Joseph Walsh of JW Accountants, 15 September 2026.

The same edition of the gazette carries a long run of insolvency notices, including members’ voluntary windings-up for TCI REP International Designated Activity Company, Rosscorp Limited and the Four Six Four Aircraft companies, alongside creditors’ voluntary liquidation notices such as that for Brú Brewery Limited.

What it means for creditors and staff

For creditors and employees of Info TV Limited, the notice is the first public marker that the company has entered the statutory rescue process rather than a winding-up. The appointment places the preparation of a Rescue Plan under Part 10A in the hands of a named, statutorily qualified adviser, and the gazette publication fixes 13 October 2026 as the date from which the process runs.
