Por FactBox Admin

The Presidency of the Andalusian Institute for Agricultural, Fisheries, Food and Organic Production Research and Training (IFAPA) has issued a new call for employment contracts within the framework of specific research, development, innovation, and training projects (R+D+I+T). The resolution, signed on September 10, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Government of Andalusia (BOJA) number 180, dated September 16, 2026, under text no. 11905, spanning nine pages.
The call is framed within section 2.2 of the gazette, dedicated to competitive examinations, contests, and other calls, within the area of the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development. Through this, the Andalusian agricultural research body opens the door to the incorporation of qualified personnel to reinforce the teams developing specific R+D+I+T projects in the agri-food sector.
A recurring call in the sector
This is not an isolated action. Throughout the months of August and September 2026, the Presidency of IFAPA has periodically published calls for employment contracts linked to specific R+D+I+T projects, with resolutions appearing successively in different issues of the BOJA:
- Resolution of August 19, 2026 (texts no. 11293 and 11313, BOJA no. 167).
- Resolutions of August 24 and 27, 2026 (texts no. 11386, 11389, and 11390, BOJA no. 170).
- Resolution of August 31, 2026 (text no. 11624, BOJA no. 175).
- Resolution of September 10, 2026 (text no. 11905, BOJA no. 180).
This cadence reflects the sustained effort of IFAPA to provide research, technical, and support personnel for its lines of work in the agricultural, fisheries, food, and organic production fields.
Opportunity for qualified employment
The call is aimed at hiring contractual staff to join the specific R+D+I+T projects developed by the institute. This represents a significant opportunity for professionals with training and experience in the Andalusian agri-food sector, one of the economic engines of the community.
Interested parties should pay close attention to the requirements, deadlines, and conditions detailed in the full text of the resolution, published in BOJA number 180, as well as the annexes accompanying the call with the list of projects and offered profiles.
Relevance for the sector
The publication of this call consolidates IFAPA as a key actor in the generation of scientific-technical employment in Andalusia. By linking hiring to specific R&D&I projects, the institute not only strengthens its research capacity but also contributes to the transfer of knowledge and the competitiveness of the Andalusian agri-food sector, offering stable professional opportunities for researchers, technicians, and support staff.
