Iberdrola lists 98.1 million shares from its latest capital increase on BME

Iberdrola Sociedad Anónima has obtained admission to listing on BME Markets & Exchanges, S.A.U. for the 98,141,516 shares issued in its latest capital increase. The decision is published in the Official Gazette of the Mercantile Registry (BORME) number 185, corresponding to Thursday, September 24, 2026, in the First Section, page 45184. The announcement bears reference 427646 and is based on entry 2,693rd recorded in the Mercantile Registry of Bizkaia.

The entry supporting the operation appears with the registry data S 8, H BI 167, A, I/2699, dated September 17, 2026, according to the announcement itself. The admission to listing constitutes the final registry formality of a capital increase already executed: the securities exist, are paid up and registered, and what is now being formalized is their incorporation into the market.

The increase that gave rise to these securities was registered under number 2,693rd and was published in BORME number 150, of August 6, 2026, under reference 366732. That announcement details that the subscribed and paid-up capital of the operation amounted to 73,606,137.00 euros, and that the resulting subscribed and paid-up capital rose to 5,004,856,137.00 euros. The registration was carried out on July 29, 2026.

Prior admission in Barcelona, Bilbao, and Valencia

The same 98,141,516 shares had already been admitted for trading on the stock exchanges of Barcelona, Bilbao, and Valencia, effective from July 29, 2026. This is recorded in BORME number 153, of August 11, 2026, references 372991, 372992, and 372993, with registry data I/2694, I/2695, and I/2696 respectively.

The announcement now published in the First Section completes that process by extending the admission to BME Markets & Exchanges, S.A.U., with registry data I/2699. This is, therefore, the same capital increase, not a new issuance.

A recurring operation in the company’s calendar

Admission to trading does not in itself alter the number of shares outstanding or the rights of shareholders: the securities were already part of the share capital since the registration of the capital increase. What changes is their full integration into the secondary market, which allows them to be traded under the same conditions as the rest of the shares.

For the investor, the relevant figure is the incorporated volume: 98,141,516 securities which are added to the resulting capital of 5,004,856,137.00 euros registered in July. The publication in the BORME also provides official publicity and enforceability against third parties for the corporate operation.

The news has general scope because Iberdrola is one of the largest companies in the Ibex 35 and its capital is distributed among thousands of institutional and minority shareholders.
