Hugo González Pereira, new officer of the Redondela Local Police

The Redondela City Council has had a new officer in its Local Police force since October 27. The mayor, Digna Rosa Rivas Gómez, signed Resolution no. 2026-3915 on October 26, whereby it was resolved to appoint Hugo González Pereira as a career civil servant with the designation of Local Police Officer. The official announcement was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO) no. 212, corresponding to Tuesday, November 3, 2026, in the Local Administration section.

The resolution is part of the selection process convened in 2025 for access via internal promotion within the Local Police forces of Galicia, in the basic scale and officer category, in which the municipality of Redondela delegated one position from its own Local Police. The position was included in the Public Employment Offer of 2024, published in BOPPO no. 250, on December 27, 2024, and refers to a career civil servant position in the Basic scale, Special Services sub-scale, Officer class, group C, subgroup C1.

A position filled by internal promotion
