Huelva announces fencing of the countryside and opens claims for owners
Por FactBox Admin

The Hueva City Council has announced the celebration of a countryside bull run on September 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM, organized by the council itself. The call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara, number 159, dated Thursday, August 20, 2026, and opens a period of ten calendar days for the owners of the estates affected by the route to submit objections.
The announcement, signed on August 11, 2026, by the mayor-president, Ismael Sánchez Vecino, is expressly addressed to all owners of private estates through which the festivities take place, who are granted the possibility to allege whatever they consider most convenient to their interests.
Route and areas of the festivities
The countryside bull run will follow an itinerary that combines the urban center and the rural areas of the municipality. The council has delimited four distinct zones for the development of the event:
- Starting zone: Plaza Melchor López Jiménez.
- Release zone: Calle Mayor, Paseo de San Roque, and the areas of Carrallano, Parrera, Álamo, Barranco Mínguez, Acequias, Cabañas Altas, and Cerro Abanto.
- Spectator zone: located behind the barriers and trailers installed for this purpose, along the urban route of the run, in Plaza Melchor López Jiménez (Plaza Mayor), Calle Mayor, and Paseo de San Roque.
- Finishing zone: coincides with the starting and corral zone, located in Plaza Melchor López Jiménez.
Objection period for owners
The council informs the owners of the estates through which the bull run passes that they have a period of ten calendar days, counting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara, to allege whatever they consider most convenient to their interests.
The failure to submit any objection by the owners will be understood as express consent for the celebration of the bullfighting event through the properties included in the indicated itineraries. This administrative silence clause directly affects the residents and rural owners whose estates fall within the route.
Framework and relevance of the announcement
The announcement is part of the ordinary processing of popular bullfighting festivities, which requires public notification of the itinerary and the possibility for those affected by the passage of the cattle to state their position before the celebration. Publication in the provincial gazette guarantees the publicity of the procedure and the right of the owners to be heard.
With the opening of this procedure, the Hueva City Council is moving forward with the organization of a bull run that combines the urban route through the Plaza Mayor, Calle Mayor, and Paseo de San Roque with the passage through the rural areas of the municipality. The event, scheduled for September 13, is added to the town’s calendar of festivities and affects both the residents of the town center and the owners of the surrounding estates.
