Huesca makes the list for the Local Police competitive examination final

Por FactBox Admin

The Huesca City Council has finalized the list of admitted and excluded applicants to participate in the open competitive examination to fill fifteen Local Police positions, and has appointed the Qualifying Board for the tests. This is established by Resolution No. 4857/2026, dated August 19, 2026, signed by Mayor Lorena Orduna Pons, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca number 159, dated August 21, 2026 (reference BOPH-2026-159007).

The call, which began with the publication of the provisional list in the BOP of Huesca number 130, dated July 10, 2026, is the largest police recruitment offer of the year in the capital of Huesca. Of the fifteen positions, twelve will be filled through the open entry system and three through the reserve shift for the open access of professional military personnel (troops and sailors) with more than five years of service.

Final Admitted and Excluded Applicants

The resolution adds eight applicants to the admitted list, as the cause for exclusion has been rectified:

  • Open entry: Inés Arbas Castello, Kevin Diaz Alonso, Alex García Borobia, Javier Huerta Domingo, Sorin Gabriel Ion Mandoiu, Laura Juste Morales, and Daniel Valiente Erroz.
  • Open entry with military reserve: Jorge Fernando Ramón Zapata.

Conversely, nineteen applicants from the open entry shift—including Ana Belén Barberán Gómez, Francisco Javier Chueca Camin, Paula Pérez Espinosa, and Alvaro Villegas Martínez—and Daniel Barcenilla Cervera from the military reserve shift are definitively excluded from the process for failing to rectify their status within the deadline.

Composition of the Qualifying Board

The selection body is composed of the following individuals:

  • Permanent President: Mariano Lachen Gimeno; substitute, Belén Naya Pamplona.
  • Permanent Members: Nicolás Hernandez Gracia, Javier Serrano Egusquiza, Francisco Leyva Vicen, and Patricia Pueyo Bergua.
  • Substitute Members: José Tomás Aznar Bentué, Adrian Marco Oliván, Alfonso José Mur Bergua, and Antonio Pertusa Lafalla.
  • Administrative Collaborator: M. Pilar Lambán Domeque.
  • Specialist Advisors for the second exercise (physical tests): Jorge Ascaso Martorell and Lorenzo Sasot Gorgoñón, with a voice but no vote.

Deadline for Recusals and Next Steps

Interested parties have a period of ten business days, counting from the day following the publication of the resolution, to file recusals or abstentions against the members of the Board when the circumstances provided for in Article 23 of Law 40/2015, of October 1, on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector, occur. The resolution is also published on the Corporation’s electronic office and on the Huesca City Council website.

With the final list and the tribunal already appointed, the process is ready for the start of the physical tests, the first exercise of the competitive examination. The permanent filling of these fifteen positions will reinforce the staff of the Huesca Local Police, a relevant step for security and public services in the capital.
