Por FactBox Admin

The Huesca City Council has resolved the 2026 call for grants for projects aimed at children and youth with a total distribution of 17,100 euros among fifteen social entities in the city. The decision was adopted by the Mayor’s Office through Decree No. 6215/2026, issued on October 22, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca (BOPH) No. 206, on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, with reference BOPH-2026-206010.
The framework of the call
The resolution is based on the General Ordinance regulating the granting of subsidies of the Huesca City Council, approved by the Plenary in the session of February 24, 2016. The call for aid was approved by Mayoral Decree No. 2577/2026, of May 15, 2026, an extract of which was published in BOPH No. 123, on July 1, 2026.
The processing of the file included an initial pre-evaluation phase, closed with the reports and the list of applicants as of September 23, 2026. On that same day, at 10:00 a.m., the evaluation commission was constituted, composed of Ana Carmen Andrés Sangüesa, Laura López Oliva, Silvia Astarloa Carcavilla, and Israel Herrero Edo, who issued a report in accordance with article 24.3 of Legislative Decree 2/2023, of May 3, which approves the Recast Text of the Subsidies Law of Aragon.
The file also incorporates report No. 1013/2026, of October 16, 2026, from the Intervention Service, which notes that more than three months have passed since July 1, 2026, the date of publication of the BOPH call. The announcement was signed by the mayor-president, Lorena Orduna Pons, on October 23, 2026.
Fifteen beneficiaries and their amounts
Seventeen applications were submitted. Fifteen entities exceeded the minimum score and receive aid; collectively they had requested 91,648.05 euros, of which 17,100.00 are granted. The distribution is as follows:

- Fundación Acción Laica, “Dinamización y sensibilización de ODS”: €1,167.80 (14 points).
- Asociación Mujeres Libres, “Conecta en Igualdad”: €750.73 (9 points).

One excluded application and another without sufficient points
The decree denies the application of the Asociación Contra el Cambio Climático del Planeta CCCP (CIF G24989451) because it fails to prove registration in the Municipal Registry of Associations of the Huesca City Council at least one year prior to the date of the call, according to point 3 of the regulatory bases.
Likewise, the Peña Alegría Laurentina, with its project for inflatables, trampoline, and mechanical bull at the Jai Alai, is excluded for not reaching the minimum required score: it obtained 6 points compared to the criteria applied to the rest.
Credit, publication, and effects
The agreement provides the credit charged to budget item 20 32600 48000, for the amount of 17,100.00 euros, in favor of the entities listed in the first point. The resolution will be published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca, in the National Grants Database, and on the municipal electronic office, without it being mandatory to notify the interested parties, and it will be forwarded to the persons and bodies directly concerned.
The relevance of the decision is twofold: it establishes in writing which leisure, camping, school support, and inclusion programs will operate in Huesca during the academic year and next summer, and it provides the families using those entities with the official reference to claim or inquire about grants. Furthermore, the distribution concentrates the highest amounts in four projects with 16 points —YMCA Aragón, Cáritas, Nereu, and Down Huesca— while long-standing entities such as the Red Cross or Fundación Valentia receive 1,167.80 euros, well below what was requested.
