Huétor Vega calls for 76,455 euros in grants for local sports
Por FactBox Admin

The Huétor Vega City Council has announced the competitive grants for Sports Line 2 for the 2026 fiscal year, with a budget of 76,455.60 euros. The summary of the call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada number 209, dated October 28, 2026, with official reference BOP-GRA-2026-209016 and file number 2026055668; applications may only be submitted electronically within ten business days.
The announcement was signed by the acting mayor, Carolina Higueras Moyano, on October 21, 2026, by virtue of Decree 2026-0929, dated October 9. The call is processed under Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, the City Council’s general regulatory ordinance on subsidies, and the 2026 Strategic Subsidy Plan, approved by Mayoral Decree 774, dated August 18, 2026, and rectified by Decree 0924, dated October 7, 2026.
76,455.60 euros for municipal sports
The line is allocated to budget application 341/480.05 and its maximum amount is 76,455.60 euros. The text sets an explicit limit: no aid may exceed, on its own or combined with other public or private contributions, the total cost of the project submitted by the beneficiary.
The objective is the promotion of municipal sports through associations, clubs, and individual and high-performance athletes from the municipality who encourage and disseminate participation in official competitions, the organization of events, tournaments, and trophies, and healthy living sports activities. The grants are subject to the principles of publicity, transparency, competition, objectivity, equality, and efficiency.
Ten business days and mandatory electronic office
The application period is ten business days starting from the publication of the regulatory bases and the call on the municipal notice board, the website, and the Official Gazette of the Province, in accordance with Royal Decree 130/2019, of March 8, which regulates the National Subsidy Database. The call is identified in that system with the code BDNS 936843 and the key L01181015.
Submission shall in all cases be mandatory via electronic means, through the City Council’s electronic office, according to Article 14 of Law 39/2015, of October 1. The application must be filed by the president of the association or their legal representative and must be accompanied by the documentation required in Article 5 of the specific bases.
Who can apply and who is excluded
Beneficiaries may include sports associations and clubs registered in the Andalusian Registry of Sports Entities of the Regional Government of Andalusia and in the municipal registry, as well as non-profit natural or legal persons. The text also includes a specific requirement for child protection: entities or projects with regular contact with minors must collect and maintain the negative certificate from the Central Registry of Sexual Offenders for all their staff—coaches, instructors, delegates, and executives—and provide a responsible declaration, in application of Organic Law 8/2021, of June 4.
Excluded entities include, among others, those:
- involved in a subsidy reversal proceeding due to failure to fulfill purposes;
- pending justification or reimbursement of previous municipal grants;
- not up to date with state or regional tax authorities, Social Security, and the City Council itself;
- sanctioned for serious causes by an administration or sports federation;
- and those that fall under the circumstances of Article 13 of Law 38/2003.
Bases approved and published this month
The specific bases were approved by Mayoral Decree 0941-2026, of October 15, 2026, and were published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada number 204, of October 21, 2026. The call refers to the full text available in the National Subsidy Database to learn the details of the evaluation criteria.
The call arrives with a very tight schedule: to the ten-business-day deadline is added the requirement to process the entire procedure by electronic means, which forces the clubs and associations of Huétor Vega to have the required documentation and certificates prepared in advance. For grassroots sports and local entities without their own administrative structure, this double requirement—short time and electronic office—will be the main obstacle to accessing the 76,455.60 euros available.
