Hostalaría de Galicia concede 84 bolsas de matrícula para o curso 2026/27

The Galician Tourism Agency announced this Wednesday, November 4, the final granting of tuition scholarships to study at the Higher Center of Hospitality of Galicia (CSHG) during the 2026/27 academic year. The decision takes the form of a resolution dated October 27, 2026, signed by the agency’s director, José Manuel Merelles Remy, and is published in the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG no. 211, section III, Other provisions, starting on page 55347). The list of beneficiaries is distributed across two annexes, containing names, file numbers, and partially hidden identity documents.

The framework: the May call

The granting derives from the Resolution of May 19, 2026, published in DOG no. 102 on June 3, which established the regulatory bases and the competitive call for scholarships at the CSHG for the 2026/27 course, under procedure codes TU200A (ordinary scholarships) and TU200C (academic excellence scholarships). The now-published resolution complied with the provisions of article 15.1 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on Galician subsidies, article 17 of Law 1/2016, of January 18, on transparency and good governance, and article 18.1 of the bases themselves.

The initial call provided for 25 ordinary scholarships and eight for academic excellence for the degree in Hospitality Business Management, to which eight ordinary scholarships for the higher course in Head Chef and Pastry were added. The latter were voided by the resolution of October 14, 2026 (DOG no. 199, of October 20), which declared the material impossibility of teaching that course during the academic year due to renovation works on the center’s facilities, which had not yet been awarded at the time the resolution was issued. In the same month of October, the DOG also published the results of the scholarships for Galician people residing abroad (procedure TU200D).

First year: 25 ordinary scholarships and eight for excellence

Annex I contains the final granting for first-year students. The list of ordinary scholarships TU200A is headed by:

  • Salma Ndiaye Ndiaye (file TU200A-2026-00000121-00), order number 1.
  • Andrea Sáez Seivane (TU200A-2026-00000082-00), order number 2.
  • Clara Lage Blanco (TU200A-2026-00000115-00), order number 3.

The academic excellence scholarships TU200C for the first year, eight in total, begin with Adriana Alonso Canal (TU200C-2026-00000026-00), Rocío Valiño Vidal (TU200C-2026-00000017-00), and Javier Cal Fernández (TU200C-2026-00000004-00).

Renewals: 51 students maintain the aid

Annex II, dedicated to renewals, totals 51 beneficiaries divided into three groups:

  • 22 students who are renewing ordinary TU200A type I scholarships, including Lea Picallo Álvarez (TU200A-2026-00000007-00) and Carla Martínez Papín (TU200A-2026-00000010-00).
  • 22 who are renewing ordinary TU200A type II scholarships, such as Gabriella Grille Castelo (TU200A-2026-00000001-00) and Icía Carreiras Valcárcel (TU200A-2026-00000002-00).
  • 7 who are renewing TU200C academic excellence scholarships, including Isabel Varela Ventosa (TU200C-2026-00000002-00) and Noelia Vázquez Nogueiras (TU200C-2026-00000005-00).

Altogether, the resolution published today reaches 84 beneficiaries: 33 new entries and 51 renewals.

Publicity and data protection

The resolution orders the results of the process to be made public in the Official Gazette of Galicia, on the website of the Tourism Agency of Galicia, and on the CSHG web portal. In the annexes, identity document numbers always appear with the middle digits replaced by asterisks, so that only the final part of each DNI is disclosed along with the name, surnames, and file number.

The publication thus closes the competitive bidding process for scholarships linked to the degree in Hospitality Business Management for this course, after the route for the higher course in Kitchen Chef and Pastry was discarded due to the construction schedule at the Santiago center.

The final list has direct effects for the students who can now formalize their enrollment charged to the grant and for the families who had been awaiting the resolution since June, in addition to fixing the actual number of active grants at the center this course: 84 compared to the 33 new admission places, which reflects the weight of renewals in the CSHG’s economic support policy.
