Herlev Squashhal Fonden enters voluntary liquidation with three month creditor deadline

The board of HERLEV SQUASHHAL FONDEN resolved at a general meeting on 17 February 2026 to place the foundation into voluntary liquidation, according to a notice published in Statstidende on 3 November 2026 under reference S30102026-121. The same notice summons anyone holding a claim against the foundation to present it to the liquidator within three months of publication. The deadline therefore falls around 3 February 2027.

A foundation wound up by its own board

The notice is carried in the Forskellige kundgørelser part of the gazette, under the heading Likvidation og tvangsopløsning. It states that the decision was taken by the board through the general meeting, which is the route used when a foundation’s own governing bodies initiate the winding-up rather than a court or the insolvency authorities. The record gives no reason for the decision, and the notice does not mention the foundation’s assets, its liabilities or what will happen to the sports facility itself.

The entity concerned is registered as follows:

  • Name: HERLEV SQUASHHAL FONDEN
  • CVR number: 26507146
  • Legal form: Erhvervsdrivende fond (commercial foundation)
  • Registered address: Herlev Bygade 39, 2730 Herlev, Denmark

The gap between the resolution of 17 February 2026 and publication on 3 November 2026 — more than eight months — is not explained in the text, which simply records the meeting date and the decision.

Who handles the claims

The notice names Kathe Hansen, of the law firm Ræson Advokater, as liquidator. Creditors are directed to her at the firm’s office, and the announcement carries both a telephone number and a case reference for enquiries:

  • Liquidator: Kathe Hansen, Ræson Advokater
  • Address: Bydammen 8, 2750 Ballerup, Denmark
  • Telephone: 44971414
  • Case number (journalnr.): 47641

The notice was signed in Ballerup on 30 October 2026 by Mikkel Løve Ekstrand, whose name appears as the signatory of the announcement. Under the wording used, the liquidator is the sole addressee for claims; the gazette text names no other contact point and no alternative procedure.

Three months to file, with documents attached

The operative instruction is addressed to “anyone who has a claim or other demand” against the foundation. It is not limited to trade creditors, so former suppliers, lenders, landlords, employees, members or users who believe they are owed money or hold another kind of right against the foundation fall within its wording.

The conditions set out in the notice are:

  • Claims must be submitted within three months counted from the insertion of the announcement in Statstidende, meaning the practical cut-off is on or about 3 February 2027.
  • Claims must be sent to the liquidator, Kathe Hansen at Ræson Advokater.
  • Each claim must be accompanied by the documents on which it is based, so a bare statement of an amount is not sufficient on the notice’s terms.

The announcement does not state whether a dividend is expected, nor whether the foundation’s assets are thought sufficient to cover its obligations. It also sets no separate deadline for disputed claims.

Relevance for Herlev

For a local sports foundation, a liquidation notice is the point at which the wider circle around the facility — members, users, volunteers, neighbours and small local suppliers — has to act if it wants to be counted. The three-month window is short and runs from the publication date rather than the date of the board’s decision, so anyone who dealt with the foundation before February 2026 but reads the gazette only in the new year still has time, narrowly, to file. Claims not presented to Kathe Hansen within the period, and not documented as the notice requires, risk being left out of the settlement altogether.
