Haro approves the water, waste, and sanitation registries for the third quarter

The Local Government Board of the Haro City Council approved on September 22, 2026, the tax rolls for water supply and waste collection fees, as well as the sanitation fee, corresponding to the third quarter of 2026. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja no. 185, dated September 25, 2026, with the official reference BOR-A-20260925-III–3639. The voluntary payment period is set from October 1 to November 30, 2026.

The agreement and its legal basis

The municipal body adopted the decision by unanimity of those present, under the Decree of delegation of Mayoral powers to the Local Government Board, dated June 21, 2023, published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja on June 26, 2023. The file is identified by number 202609230124620 and the act is included in section III, “Other Provisions and Acts,” of the provincial gazette.

The agreement consists of four resolutive points:

• To approve the tax rolls for water supply and waste collection fees and the sanitation fee for the third quarter of 2026.
• To make said rolls available to the public via edict in the Official Gazette of La Rioja and on the Notice Board, for a period of 15 days for the purpose of claims.
• To set the voluntary payment period from October 1 to November 30, 2026.
• To initiate the executive procedure, with the corresponding surcharges, once said period has elapsed.

Deadlines, claims, and payment methods

Taxpayers included in the roll have 15 days from the publication of the edict to file claims against the settlements. For the payment of receipts, the City Council provides several channels:

• Payment through the municipal website.
• Bank transfer.
• Bank card.
• Cash payment at the Collection Office, located at Plaza de la Paz nº 1 in Haro (City Hall).

Furthermore, those who wish to do so may set up a direct debit for their receipts for subsequent years by submitting the direct debit document found on the municipal website, duly completed and signed, to the City Council Registry.

Consequences of non-payment

Once the voluntary payment period has elapsed, the City Council will initiate the executive procedure and the debt will increase with the corresponding surcharges. The agreement was signed in Haro on September 23, 2026, by the Mayor-President, Guadalupe Fernández Prado.

The edict affects all taxpayers in Haro included in the water, waste, and sanitation rolls, thus establishing the payment calendar for the quarter and opening the period to claim settlements before the debt enters the executive phase with surcharges.
