Treasury withdraws lot 12 from the rural auction in Sahagún

The Economy and Finance Delegation of León has agreed to terminate by withdrawal the disposal procedure for lot 12 of the public auction of rural properties, a plot of 17,432 square meters located in Sahagún. The decision, signed on October 9, 2026, by the delegate Mª Isabel López López, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of León no. 196, dated October 15, 2026, with the reference BOP-LE-2026-196016. The announcement modifies the resolution of September 21, 2026, which had called for the auction.

The original resolution, issued by the same body and announced in the Official Gazette of the Province of León no. 182, dated September 23, 2026, called for a public ascending auction with simultaneous admission of sealed bids for rural properties owned by the State in the province of León. The now-published announcement excludes only lot 12 from the procedure and concludes its processing.

Planned bidding types and guarantees

The announcement details the amounts set for the successive calls for the lot, which are now void:

First auction: 1,147.29 euros.
Second auction: 975.20 euros.
Third auction: 828.92 euros.
Fourth auction: 704.58 euros.
10% Guarantee: 115.00 euros in the first auction; exempt in the second, third, and fourth.

The reason: prior physical and legal purification

The Economy and Finance Delegation of León justifies the exclusion based on “supervening circumstances which demonstrate that it is necessary to carry out a physical and legal purification of the rural property, prior to its disposal.” The agreement is limited to lot 12 and does not affect the other properties included in the call of September 21, 2026.

The withdrawal implies the early closure of the processing of this lot within the general public auction procedure, without the announcement setting a new call date or a new bidding price for the plot.

The withdrawal of lot 12 nullifies the bidding conditions published for that estate and forces potential bidders to redirect their offers toward the remaining lots of the call. For the general interest, the announcement confirms that the disposal of rural assets of the State in the province is conditional upon the prior physical and legal regularization of the properties, a procedure that may delay the auction of the Sahagún plot until the unforeseen circumstances alleged by the managing body are resolved.
