Por FactBox Admin

The Navarra Foral Treasury has published in the Official Gazette of Navarra number 168, dated August 26, 2026, the communication regarding the vacant estate of Jose Anselmo Chocarro García, who passed away in Pamplona on January 21, 2025. The edict, signed by the director of the Collection Service, Javier Ezpeleta Iráizoz, summons potential heirs to prove their right before the Foral Administration.
The publication is a response to the impossibility of contacting the representatives of the estate as they are unknown, due to the absence of a will or because those designated in it have renounced their rights. The announcement is disseminated both in the official gazette and on the notice boards of the local entities corresponding to the deceased’s last residence and place of death.
Deadline and Place of Appearance
Interested parties have a period of one month, counted from the day following the publication of the edict, to appear personally or duly represented at Carlos III Avenue, number 4 (entrance via Cortes de Navarra Street), level 6, Pamplona. The purpose of the appearance is to be formally notified of the last pending procedure as of the date of the deceased’s death and to prove their right to the inheritance.
- Deadline: one month from the day following the publication.
- Place: Carlos III Avenue, number 4, level 6, Pamplona.
- Act being notified: enforcement order 141/2026/19145.
Deceased’s Data
The edict identifies the deceased and the enforcement procedure that motivates the summons:
- Full name: Jose Anselmo Chocarro García.
- NIF (Tax ID): 15754627-H.
- Date of death: 1/21/2025.
- Place of death: Pamplona.
- Last residence: Pamplona.
- Year and procedure number: 141/2026/19145.
Effects of Non-Appearance
The communication is carried out in compliance with Article 36.4 of Foral Law 13/2000, of December 14, General Tax Law. If the interested parties do not appear within the specified period, they will be considered notified for all purposes from the day following the expiration of the deadline, both regarding the last pending procedure and subsequent actions and diligences of the enforcement procedure, although they retain the right to appear at any other time.
Within the month following the notification, interested parties may file an optional appeal for reversal before the body that issued the act or an economic-administrative claim before the Economic Administrative Tribunal of Navarra.
The publication of this edict is key for the potential heirs of Jose Anselmo Chocarro García, as if they do not prove their right within the established period, the Foral Treasury will proceed with the enforcement procedure against the vacant estate, and all actions will be deemed notified without the need for a new summons.
