Guntín publishes the 2023 waste collection tax census

The Guntín City Council submits for public exhibition the tax register for the waste collection service fee corresponding to the year 2023, approved by Mayoral Decree dated September 1, 2026. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo (number 205, of September 8, 2026, reference R. 2379), and affects all taxpayers in the municipality.

The register remains on display at the City Hall offices for one month, counted from the day following its publication in the BOP, so that interested parties may examine it and, if applicable, file the appropriate claims. The publication serves as a collective notification of the tax settlement, under article 102.3 of the General Tax Law 58/2003, of December 17.

Voluntary payment period

The voluntary payment period for the fee will open on September 10, 2026, and close on November 10, 2026, both days included. Taxpayers may make payment of the tax debt in the following ways:

• At the collaborating entity Abanca, presenting the corresponding receipt.
• Receipts set up for direct debit by taxpayers will be charged directly by the respective banking entities.

Once the voluntary payment period has ended, unpaid debts will enter the executive period, in accordance with article 161 of Law 58/2003, and the surcharge and late payment interest established in articles 26 and 28 of the same regulation will be collected.

Appeals and claims

Against the agreement approving the register, a motion for reconsideration may be filed, as a mandatory requirement, before the Mayor’s Office within one month, counted from the day following the end of the public exhibition period, according to article 14.2 of RDL 2/2004, of March 5, which contains the consolidated text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries.

Against the resolution issued on the motion for reconsideration, a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed before the competent Contentious-Administrative Court within two months, counted from the day following the notification of the resolution. If no resolution is issued within one month, the legal effects provided for in articles 24 and 25 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations shall occur.
