Guissona aprova el projecte executiu del Museu Eduard Camps, fase II

The Guissona City Council has initially approved the executive project for the new construction of the Eduard Camps Museum – Phase II, a cultural work of significance for the municipality. The decision was made by the Local Governing Board in the session of July 6, 2026, and the announcement has been published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lleida (no. 175, of September 14, 2026, edict 7657, CVE BOP-2026_0_175_7657).

The project is now subject to public consultation for a period of 30 days, counted from the day following the publication of the announcement in the gazette and on the City Council’s notice board. During this period, the file will be available to any interested person so that they may examine it and submit any allegations, suggestions, or claims they deem appropriate.

Regulatory framework and procedure

The processing is based on Article 37 of the Regulations for works, activities, and services of local entities, approved by Decree 179/1995, of June 13, in relation to Article 83 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. This framework regulates the public consultation process prior to the final approval of municipal works.

The announcement is signed by the Mayor of Guissona, Jaume Ars Bosch, and was electronically signed on September 10, 2026, through the esPublico Gestiona platform. The document can be verified on the Guissona City Council website.

Deadlines and citizen participation

The period for allegations is as follows:

  • 30 calendar days in duration, counted from the day following the publication of the announcement.
  • The file remains available for anyone wishing to examine it throughout the entire period.
  • All persons who consider themselves interested in the file may appear.
  • Allegations, suggestions, or claims may be submitted in writing to the City Council.

The Guissona City Council, located at Plaça Bisbe Benlloch 1, is the body processing the file and the one that will receive contributions from the citizenry.

A cultural work for the municipality

The new construction of the Eduard Camps Museum in its Phase II represents a top-tier cultural commitment for Guissona, expanding and completing a facility dedicated to the figure and work of the painter and sculptor Eduard Camps. Phase II of the executive project is intended to materialize a museum infrastructure that strengthens the heritage and cultural offering of the Segarra region.

The publication of the announcement opens the door to citizen participation in a project that, once the public consultation process is completed and it is definitively approved, will become a cultural reference for the municipality and its surroundings. Residents and interested entities now have the opportunity to learn about the project and make contributions before the work is consolidated.
