Civil Guard auctions 55 all-terrain motorcycles for SEPRONA

The Economic Affairs Headquarters of the Civil Guard has published in the Official State Gazette the tender announcement for the supply of a minimum of fifty-five (55) combustion-engine All-Terrain-Enduro motorcycles, modified and equipped for the patrol duties of the Nature Protection Service (SEPRONA). The contract, processed via an open procedure, has an estimated value of 495,000.00 euros and is published in issue number 207 of the BOE, dated August 24, 2026, with official reference BOE-B-2026-27683 and file number M/0027/A/26/6.

The announcement, signed by the Chief General of the Economic Affairs Headquarters, Miguel Garijo Pintos, was sent to the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) on August 12, 2026. The contracting authority, with NIF S2816003D, is headquartered at calle Guzmán el Bueno 110 in Madrid, and its primary activity is public order and security.

Object and characteristics of the contract

The supply falls under CPV code 34410000 (Motorcycles) and does not allow variants. The motorcycles, of the all-terrain-enduro type, must be specifically modified and equipped for the patrol duties of SEPRONA, the Civil Guard unit dedicated to the protection of nature and the environment.

Award criteria and deadlines

The award will be decided by weighting two criteria: the increase in power and autonomy of the motorcycles, with a weight of 40%, and the price, with a weight of 60%. Bids must be submitted in Spanish, electronically, through the Public Sector Procurement Platform.

• Deadline for receipt of bids: until 23:59 hours on September 14, 2026.
• Opening of bids (administrative and economic): September 15, 2026, at 09:30, in the Boardroom of the Support Command and via virtual meeting.
• Bid validity obligation: 8 months.

Participation and appeals

Bidders must prove their economic and financial standing through their annual turnover, as well as their technical and professional capacity, through responsible declarations aligned with the European Single Procurement Document (ESPD). A Special Administrative Appeal may be filed against the tender before the contracting body or the Central Administrative Tribunal for Contractual Appeals, in accordance with Law 9/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts.

The renewal of the SEPRONA motorcycle fleet strengthens the Guardia Civil’s environmental surveillance capacity at a time of increasing attention to the protection of natural spaces. For the special vehicles sector, the contract represents a significant business opportunity, with a budget close to half a million euros and criteria that reward the power and autonomy of the vehicles.
