Por FactBox Admin

The Guadalupe City Council has granted final approval to the municipality’s Municipal Action Plan for Forest Fire Risk, after no claims were filed during its public exhibition period. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres number 0178, corresponding to Thursday, September 17, 2026, in Section I - Local Administration, page 21433, with the official reference BOP-2026-4335.
Final approval without objections
The announcement specifies that, as no claims were registered during the public exhibition of the “Municipal Action Plan for Forest Fire Risk of Guadalupe,” the plenary agreement adopted in the session dated May 29, 2026, is automatically elevated to final status.
The publication is carried out for the purposes of Article 45 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. The document was signed in Guadalupe on September 16, 2026, by the mayor-president, José Miguel Martín Ramiro.
The regional framework for municipal plans
Municipal action plans for forest fire risk (PAMIF) are technical planning and action instruments regarding civil protection and forest fires, of an organizational and operational nature, which are integrated into the civil protection and forest fire prevention planning system of the autonomous community.
Their development derives from the Special Civil Protection Plan for Forest Fires of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura —INFOCAEX—, which determines which municipalities, based on their level of danger, are required to have this instrument. The plans are reviewed in advance by the Permanent Civil Protection Commission of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura.
A wave of approvals in the province
That of Guadalupe joins other final approvals published in the Cáceres BOP in recent weeks:
- Valdemorales: plan approved by the Plenary on September 9, 2026, and published on September 15 (BOP-2026-4307).
- Zarza de Montánchez: plenary agreement of September 2, 2026, published on September 7 (BOP-2026-4200).

- Perales del Puerto: final approval in an extraordinary session on August 11, 2026, municipal file no. 74/2026 (BOP-2026-3860).
What final approval entails
With the publication of the announcement, the plenary agreement completes its municipal processing and the plan acquires full effectiveness as a reference instrument for the prevention of and response to forest fires within the municipal district.
The document organizes the coordinated action of municipal means and resources with other public administrations and services called upon to intervene in a pre-emergency or emergency situation derived from a forest fire, a point of particular relevance for residents and landowners within the municipality.
