Guadalajara publishes the admitted applicants for Municipal Services Manager

The Guadalajara City Council has published the provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates for the selection process for the permanent provision, by competitive examination and internal promotion round, of one position of Person in Charge of Municipal Services. The list was approved by Decree of 11 August 2026 and is published in the Official Gazette of Guadalajara No. 154, of 13 August 2026. The process is aimed exclusively at the Council’s own civil servants, who now have a period of ten business days to correct errors or file claims.

The call is processed in implementation of the 2024 Public Employment Offer and affects one vacant position on the staff of civil servants of the Guadalajara City Council. The rules governing the process were approved by Decree of 23 January 2026 and published in the Official Gazette of Guadalajara No. 17, of 27 January 2026, and in the Official State Gazette No. 31, of 4 February 2026.

Five admitted and one excluded

The provisional list includes five admitted applicants, all of whom have their identifying data partially protected in the official publication:

• Alfonso Calvo Hita
• Jesús Campos Gallardo
• Ángel Antonio del Río Deza
• José Gabriel Gallego Esteban
• Susana Rivas León

A single candidate appears as excluded:

• Mario Martínez Ferri, whose reason for exclusion is not holding the status of career civil servant at the Guadalajara City Council.

Ten days for appeals

The resolution establishes a period of ten business days, counted from the day following its publication, for interested parties to correct the errors or defects that led to their exclusion or their failure to be expressly included in any of the lists. If no claims are filed against the provisional lists during that period, they will automatically become final.

Publication and signing authority

In addition to its insertion in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara, the resolution will be published on the City Council website and on the Corporation’s Notice Board. The document bears the signature of the Councillor for Human Resources, Ms. Isabel Nogueroles Viñes, and can be verified on the bulletin’s e-office using the code e3d95cb752397f730724b2d7872ed716a953d427.

The publication of these lists represents a further step towards the stable coverage of a position of responsibility in the municipal services of the capital, within a process reserved for career civil servants of the City Council itself, which reinforces internal promotion as a route to positions of greater responsibility. Interested applicants must watch the calendar: once the ten business days have elapsed without objections, the provisional list will become final.
