Guadalajara terminates and appoints temporary support staff for municipal groups

The Guadalajara City Council has made public, through the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 171, dated September 7, 2026, two mayoral decrees regarding the dismissal and appointment of temporary support staff for the AIKE and Popular municipal groups. The resolution, signed by the mayor-president Ana Cristina Guarinos López on September 3, 2026, is published in compliance with article 104.3 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the Bases of the Local Regime, and article 52.3 of the Organic Regulation of the Plenary of the council.
Dismissals and appointments in the AIKE group
Decree 2026/2296, of February 24, 2026, contains two agreements relating to the AIKE political group:
- Dismisses as temporary staff Mr. Alejandro Moreno Yagüe (ID ***2013), Administrative Assistant supporting the AIKE Political Group, with position code 1.1.160.1, effective from February 28, 2026.
- Appoints as temporary staff Ms. Raquel Pérez Ramos (ID ***4336), Administrative Assistant supporting the AIKE Municipal Political Group, with the same position code 1.1.160.1, starting from March 1, 2026.
Appointment in the Popular group
Decree 2026/8720, of August 4, 2026, incorporates a new administrative assistant into the Popular municipal group:
- Appoints as temporary staff Ms. Alicia del Olmo García (ID ***7610), Administrative Assistant supporting the Popular Municipal Group, with position code 1.1.43.9, effective from August 3, 2026.
Remuneration and financing
The appointed individuals will receive gross monthly remuneration for the 2026 fiscal year, which will be charged to budget applications 912.0.110.00, 912.0.110.01, and 912.0.160.00. These are temporary staff positions, based on free appointment and trust, linked to the administrative support of the political groups with representation in the municipal plenary.
Relevance of the measure
The publication of these decrees guarantees transparency in the management of the council’s trusted personnel and fulfills the legal obligation to publicize the dismissals and appointments of temporary staff. The changes ensure the continuity of administrative support for the AIKE and Popular municipal groups during the 2026 fiscal year, with retroactive effect to the dates indicated in each resolution.
