Ágreda approves Ana Carmen Calvo Vicente as an administrative officer through internal promotion
Por FactBox Admin

The Ágreda City Council has resolved to publish the list of successful candidates for the Administrative Assistant position, filled via internal promotion through a competitive examination process, with a single successful applicant. The decision is formalized in Mayoral Resolution No. 2026-0794, dated October 26, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria No. 127, corresponding to Friday, November 6, 2026, on pages 3968 and 3969, with the official reference BOPSO-127-06112026.
A position reserved for municipal staff
The process is part of the provision via internal promotion of a vacant position within the municipal workforce, according to the competitive examination system. The characteristics of the position published by the Council are as follows:
- Title: Administrative Assistant.
- Nature: career civil servant.
- Scale: General Administration.
- Subscale: Administrative.
- Group/Subgroup: C1.
- Level: 18.
- Required Qualification: High School diploma (Bachiller), Vocational Training II (FP II), Technician or equivalent.
- Selection System: competitive examination, internal promotion shift.
- Working Day: full-time.
- Number of Vacancies: one.
The published text states that the provision procedure has concluded and that the resolution ends the administrative route, such that the position is formally assigned to the applicant at the top of the list of successful candidates.
Result of the selection process
The list of successful candidates is ordered by score and consists of a single person:
- Ana Carmen Calvo Vicente, with ID 168***26* and 83.40 points.
Based on this list, the resolution proposes the appointment in favor of the same applicant. No other successful candidates appear in the announcement, which is consistent with the internal nature of the call and the existence of a single offered vacancy.
The act is signed by the mayor, Jesús Manuel Alonso Jiménez, in Ágreda on October 26, 2026, and reaches the provincial gazette eleven days after its adoption.
Deadlines to prove requirements and to appeal
The proposed applicant must provide the City Council, within twenty business days from the publication of the announcement, the documents proving the capacity conditions and the requirements demanded in the call. The document further specifies that those who already hold the status of public officials will be exempt from justifying the conditions and requirements already proven to obtain their previous appointment, and must only present a certification from the body they depend on accrediting their status and the circumstances recorded in their personal file.
Regarding the challenge, the resolution may be contested, alternatively, by filing an optional appeal for reversal (recurso de reposición) before the mayor within one month, pursuant to Articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, or a contentious-administrative appeal within two months, as provided in Article 69.2 of Law 36/2011, of October 10, regulating Social Jurisdiction. Should the appeal for reversal be chosen, the contentious-administrative appeal may not be filed until the former is expressly resolved or dismissed by administrative silence, without prejudice to any other appeal deemed more appropriate.
Impact for staff and applicants
The publication closes the selection phase and opens the appointment phase: the highest-ranking administrative position of group C1 in the City Council of Ágreda will be filled via internal promotion. The announcement also establishes the calendar that conditions the remaining procedures, from the submission of supporting documentation to the challenge deadlines, serving as reference points for both municipal staff and any party interested in the proceedings.
