Granada: the Junta notifies agricultural and fishing sanctions in the BOJA
Por FactBox Admin

The Territorial Delegation of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development in Granada has published a notice notifying administrative acts corresponding to sanctioning procedures in the field of agriculture and fisheries. The notice, dated 10 August 2026, appears in the Official Gazette of the Andalusian Regional Government (BOJA) number 157, of Friday 14 August 2026, with reference text no. 11072.
The publication falls within section 5.2 “Other official notices” of the BOJA and is part of the mechanism of notification by substitute publication: when personal notification cannot be carried out at the address on file, the Administration resorts to the official gazette to publicise the act and guarantee the right of defence of the interested parties. The issuing body is the provincial delegation of the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development of the Andalusian Regional Government, competent in processing these sanctioning files in the province of Granada. The general framework for these publications is the regulations on common administrative procedure of public administrations, which regulate edictal notification when the interested party could not be located.
A one-page text in BOJA 157
The notice appears in the summary of issue 157 of the BOJA (year XLVIII) with the following details:
- Date of notice: 10 August 2026.
- Issuing body: Territorial Delegation of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development in Granada.
- Purpose: notification of administrative acts of sanctioning procedures in the field of agriculture and fisheries.
- Publication: BOJA No. 157, of 14 August 2026, section 5.2 “Other official notices”.
- Length: 1 page (text no. 11072).
Recipients: parties subject to proceedings without personal notification
The recipients are the natural and legal persons included in sanctioning procedures in agriculture and fisheries instructed in Granada to whom the act could not be personally notified. The notice refers to the acts “which are cited,” i.e., the list of files and affected parties appears in the published text itself. In accordance with the regulations on common administrative procedure, the interested parties may appear before the delegation to learn the full content of the act, and the text of the notice is available on the eboja electronic portal of the Andalusian Regional Government.
Effects of publication
Publication in the BOJA replaces personal notification and therefore has full legal effects from the day following its dissemination. From that moment, deadlines are calculated for those subject to proceedings to submit allegations, appeals or other defense actions before the sanctioning administration. Failure to respond within the deadline may determine the finality of the sanction, which in this area may include fines or other measures provided for in the sectoral regulations on agriculture and fisheries.
Why it matters
The relevance of this announcement for readers is practical: those who appear in the published list must act diligently, because administrative deadlines begin to run from publication and not from later actual knowledge. Consulting the full text of the announcement in the BOJA or at the territorial delegation is the first step to avoid the finality of sanctions and exercise the right of defense.
