Golmayo approves the fees for the occupation of the local public domain

The Golmayo City Council has approved the tariff annex for the tax on the private use or special exploitation of land, subsoil, or airspace over the local public domain, which taxes companies operating supply services. The agreement, signed by Mayor Benito Serrano Mata on September 8, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria number 107, dated September 14, 2026, on pages 3153 to 3157.

The measure implements article 24.1.a of the ordinance, which is added following article 9, and completes the previous announcement published in the BOP of Soria number 146, dated December 29, 2025. The annex establishes the unit tax quota (CTU) that companies in the electricity, water, telecommunications, and hydrocarbon sectors must pay for each unit of measurement occupied.

Tariffs for electrical wiring

Annex 1.1 sets the value for overhead lines, with a quota ranging from 0.60 euros for wiring under 1 kW to 7.60 euros for wiring over 400 kW. Annex 1.2 regulates underground lines, with quotas between 1.06 and 16.59 euros depending on the power of the wiring.

• Overhead wiring > 400 kW: 7.60 €
• Overhead wiring < 1 kW: 0.60 €
• Underground wiring > 132 kW: 16.59 €
• Underground wiring < 1 kW: 1.06 €

Supports, transformers, and pipes

Annex 1.3 values supports or towers according to their height, with quotas between 38.35 euros for towers under 12 meters and 82.55 euros for towers over 24 meters. Annex 1.4 sets the quota per transformer at 245.38 euros.

Gas, hydrocarbons, and water

Annex 1.5 regulates gas and hydrocarbon piping, with quotas between 0.50 and 1.32 euros depending on the diameter of the gas pipeline, and 11.45 euros per cubic meter for LNG storage tanks. Annex 1.6 sets the water piping, with quotas between 0.35 and 0.66 euros depending on the diameter.

• Gas pipeline up to 4 inches: 0.50 €
• Gas pipeline over 20 inches: 1.32 €

• Water pipe up to 10 cm in diameter: 0.35 €
• Water pipe over 50 cm: 0.66 €

An administrative appeal may be filed against the agreement within two months of its publication, in accordance with article 19 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, before the High Court of Justice of Castilla y León, Burgos chamber.

The approval of these rates has a direct impact on the electricity, gas, water, and telecommunications companies operating in the municipality, which must adjust their costs for the occupation of the local public domain. For the residents of Golmayo, the ordinance guarantees a homogeneous and updated remuneration for the use that companies make of the municipal land, subsoil, and airspace.
