Gerena announces the awards for the XIV Ruta de la Tapa 2026

The Gerena City Council has announced the awards for the XIV Ruta de la Tapa 2026, an initiative aimed at promoting and rewarding the hospitality establishments of the municipality and the participants who take part in the event. The call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville number 180, dated September 16, 2026, through the extract of the Mayoral Resolution no. 1496/2026, dated September 14.

The financial endowment amounts to 1,000.00 euros, funded by the council’s budget allocation 432.48024. Interested establishments may submit their application until September 25, 2026.

Regulatory Framework and Purpose

The purpose of the call is twofold: on one hand, to promote and reward the hospitality establishments joined to the route and, on the other, to recognize the participation of the route-goers who vote for the gastronomic proposals.

Awards and Categories

Participating establishments may opt for only one of the awards, which are granted by direct vote of the route participants:

• €500 for the Special Dish of the Route.
• €300 for the Tapa of the Route.
• €200 for the Homemade Dessert of the Route.

How to Participate

Hospitality establishments wishing to participate must apply in writing using the provided form (Annex I), submitting it to the General Registry of the Gerena City Council, either in person or through the electronic office, providing all the data requested therein.

The submission period begins the day following the publication of the extract in the provincial gazette, via the BDNS, and ends on September 25, 2026. The resolution is signed by the mayor-president, María Tenorio Santana.
