Civil Service approves 69 admitted and 11 excluded candidates in the Veterinarian OEP

The General Directorate of Public Service of La Rioja has approved the provisional list of applicants admitted and excluded from the selective tests for the provision of vacant positions in the Higher Faculty Body of Special Administration (Veterinarian), corresponding to process FA.03/24-26. The resolution, signed by the general director Ángel Sainz Yangüela, is published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja number 165, dated August 28, 2026, and results in a total of 69 admitted and 11 excluded.

The provisional list is part of the call approved by Resolution 1409/2026, of June 16, of the Department of Finance, Public Governance, Digital Society and Government Spokesperson, published in BOR number 113, of June 17, 2026, and subsequently modified by Resolution 1634/2026, of July 6. The processing is based on clause 5 of the call and the powers conferred by article 17, section d), of Decree 51/2023, of July 14, in development of Law 3/2003, of March 3, on the Organization of the Public Sector of the Autonomous Community of La Rioja.

Figures of the provisional list

The provisional list distinguishes between the disability reserve quota and the open quota:

• Disability reserve quota: 1 person admitted (Cecilia Castillo Gómez).
• Open quota: 68 people admitted.
• Total admitted: 69.
• Disability reserve quota: 0 people excluded.
• Open quota: 11 people excluded.
• Total excluded: 11.

Among those admitted via the open quota are, among others, Ana Alacid López, Gonzalo Anibarro García-Baquero, Jesús Ecay Narvaiz, María Dolores Gil Jaime, Francisco Javier Miranda Vallejo, Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Cascón, and Juan Zalaya Maestre.

Reasons for exclusion and correction deadlines

The 11 excluded persons, all from the open quota, must electronically correct the defect that led to their exclusion within a period of ten business days starting from the day following the publication of the resolution. The reasons cited are as follows:

• Cause 84: failure to electronically attach the responsible declaration of nationality.
• Cause 91: failure to electronically attach the documentation proving representation.
• Cause 96: failure to electronically attach the negative report of rejections from the State Public Employment Service (SEPE).
• Cause 98: not having income lower than the Interprofessional Minimum Wage.
• Cause 100: cited in several exclusions along with causes 96 and 98.

The correction must be carried out exclusively electronically via the website www.larioja.org/empleopublico, following the sequence “Oposiciones”, “Administración General” and “Procesos selectivos OEP 2024”. Persons who do not make the corrections within the deadline or do not justify their right to appear on the list will be definitively excluded, and the corrections submitted will be considered answered upon the publication of the final list.

Relevance of the process

This OEP is key to reinforcing the staffing of veterinarians in the Riojan administration, an essential group for animal health and public health in the community. The provisional resolution now opens a correction window that will determine the final composition of the selection process FA.03/24-26, whose applicants must remain attentive to the publication of the final list to confirm their admission.
