Fuentespina approves the rehabilitation of the laundry house, the park, and a street

The Fuentespina City Council has approved, by Plenary agreement on July 27, 2026, the valued report for the rehabilitation of the washhouse (Canillo), the park, and the street urbanization in the town. The project, drafted by Mr. Miguel Ángel Molinos Esteban, has a total budget of 43,598.43 euros and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos, number 162, dated August 27, 2026, with reference BOPBUR-2026-03597.
The action is framed within section III of Local Administration of the gazette and involves an intervention on public spaces for neighborhood use. The file is subject to public information so that interested parties may submit any claims and allegations they deem appropriate before the execution of the works.
Object of the intervention
The valued report contemplates three complementary actions regarding the heritage and public spaces of the municipality:
- Rehabilitation of the washhouse or Canillo, an element of ethnographic and heritage value.
- Improvement of the municipal park.
- Urbanization of a street in the town.
The set of works is financed with a total budget of 43,598.43 euros, a figure detailed in the report drafted by the technician Miguel Ángel Molinos Esteban.
Period for allegations
The agreement is open to the public for a term of fifteen calendar days, counted from the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Province and on the notice board of the local entity. During this period, interested parties may present the relevant claims and allegations, if applicable.
The announcement was signed in Fuentespina on August 14, 2026, by the mayor, María Josefa Mato Ramírez, acting as the competent body of the municipality.
Relevance for the municipality
The rehabilitation of the washhouse or Canillo and the park, along with the street urbanization, represents a direct improvement of the coexistence spaces and the local heritage of Fuentespina. The implementation of these works, once the public exhibition process is completed, will allow for the recovery of a traditional element of the municipality and the modernization of its urban infrastructures with a municipal investment of nearly 44,000 euros.
