Fuente Palmera sets a fee of 60 euros for the use of the El Villar Civic Center

The Fuente Palmera City Council has definitively approved the modification of the Fiscal Ordinance regulating the Fee for the use of buildings, premises, and facilities of the municipality, which sets the payment for the use of the building known as the El Villar Civic Center at 60.00 euros and adds a supplement of 90.00 euros when the authorization includes the use of the kitchen. The agreement, adopted by the municipal Plenary, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 165, dated August 26, 2026, pages 12662 and 12663, with reference BOP-A-2026-2944.

The decision was announced by the mayor-president, Francisco Javier Ruiz Moro, who signed the announcement on August 20, 2026. The modification is incorporated into Article 7 of the ordinance and will enter into force the day following the publication of its full text in the provincial gazette, remaining in effect until a new modification or its express repeal is agreed upon.

Processing of the file

The City Council Plenary, in an ordinary session held in the first call on July 9, 2026, initially approved the modification of the ordinance, within file Gex no. 2208/2025. The initial approval was published in the Official Gazette of the Province number 138, dated July 20, 2026.

As no allegations were submitted regarding the file, the modification was definitively approved, as stated in the official announcement.

The new fee and its scope

The modification affects the use of the El Villar Civic Center building, which is subject to the payment of the established fee of 60.00 euros. When the authorization of use includes the use of the kitchen existing in said facilities, an additional supplement of 90.00 euros will be required, which will be added to the corresponding general fee.

• Fee for use of the building: 60.00 €.
• Supplement for use of the kitchen: 90.00 €.
• Scope: users and associations requesting the use of the facilities.

The measure affects both private users and associations and entities that use the civic center for their activities.

Appeals and validity

An administrative-law appeal may be filed against the agreement before the Administrative Litigation Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Andalusia, within a period of two months starting from the day following the publication of the announcement, in accordance with Article 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, on Administrative Litigation Jurisdiction.

The new regulation will come into effect the day after the publication of its full text in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba, therefore associations and residents of El Villar who use the civic center must take the new cost into account as of that date.

The final approval of this fee represents a significant change for the associative life of the district, as it introduces an economic cost for the use of a municipal facility of a social nature. The measure, which received no objections during its processing, will force entities and users to plan their activities and budgets in light of the new tax for the use of the facilities and its kitchen.
