Fuensalida modifies the nominative subsidies of the 2026 budget

Por FactBox Admin

The Plenary Session of the Fuensalida City Council, in an ordinary session held on July 30, 2026, initially approved the modification of the annex of nominative grants included in the General Budget for the 2026 fiscal year. The agreement affects the entities and groups benefiting from these direct grants from the municipality and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Toledo number 161, dated August 25, 2026, under reference No. I.-3790.

The decision is made public in accordance with the provisions of Article 20.1 of Royal Decree 500/1990, of April 20, in relation to Article 169.1 of the consolidated text of the Law regulating Local Treasuries, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5. The file is available for public inspection at the Municipal Comptroller’s Office so that interested parties may examine it and submit any claims they deem appropriate.

Period for Allegations

Interested parties have a period of fifteen business days to submit claims, counted from the day following the publication of the announcement in the provincial gazette. During this period, the file remains available to citizens at the Municipal Comptroller’s Office.

  • Period for allegations: 15 business days from the day following publication.
  • Place of consultation: Municipal Comptroller’s Office of the Fuensalida City Council.
  • Deciding body: Municipal Plenary, in the ordinary session of July 30, 2026.

Final Approval

The agreement will be considered definitively approved if, at the end of the public exhibition period, no claims have been submitted. Otherwise, the Plenary will have a period of one month to resolve the submitted allegations.

The announcement was signed in Fuensalida on August 13, 2026, by the mayor, José Jaime Alonso Díaz-Guerra, and bears the verification code 2026.00003790.

Relevance for the Municipality

The modification of the annex of nominative grants reorganizes the direct aid that the Fuensalida City Council allocates to entities and groups within the municipality for the 2026 fiscal year. As these are nominative grants, their approval conditions the funding of the beneficiaries’ projects and activities; therefore, the period for allegations is key for the affected entities to review their inclusion and amounts before the agreement becomes final.
