Por FactBox Admin

The Friol City Council submits for public exhibition the decommissioning as a public use asset of a plot of 3,309 m², intended for the construction of the football field changing rooms. The agreement was adopted by the Plenary in the extraordinary session of August 13, 2026, at the request of LAR DO REGUEIRO, and was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo number 191, on August 22, 2026.
The plot, with cadastral reference 2102A12301710000Y and owned by the council, is decommissioned once the section necessary for the projected action and the setback indicated in the architect’s report are deducted. The file, in the provisional approval phase, will remain under public information for one month.
Public exhibition procedure
The agreement, regarding the provisional approval of the decommissioning, is submitted for public exhibition for a period of one month, counted from the day following its publication in the provincial gazette. During this period, interested parties may examine the file and submit claims.
- Exhibition period: one month from publication in the BOP.
- Consultation of the file: at the electronic headquarters http://friol.sedelectronica.es.
- If no claims are submitted, the provisional agreement will be understood as definitively approved.
- If claims are submitted, they will be resolved by the Plenary.
Subsequent exchange
Once the decommissioning file is definitively approved, and in accordance with the applicable regulations, the subsequent disposal of the plot by exchange will proceed. This operation will complete the process initiated with the transfer of the land for the sports facilities.
The announcement is signed by the mayor, José Ángel Santos Sánchez, dated August 14, 2026, and bears the reference R. 2243.
Relevance for the municipality
The decommissioning will allow the council to have the necessary land to provide the football field with changing rooms, an improvement awaited by the residents and local sports clubs. The subsequent exchange ensures that the council does not lose assets, by compensating the transfer with a payment in kind, in a process that will be definitively resolved if there are no objections within one month.
