Fraga appoints two new local police officers as career civil servants

The Fraga City Council has appointed two new Local Police officers, Javier Lizáldez Coloma and Guillermo Benedí Pérez, as career civil servants through separate mayoral resolutions dated October 1, 2026. The appointment is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca number 192, corresponding to Wednesday, October 7, 2026, within the Local Administration section. The two officers access the positions after passing the unified selection process for entry into the Local Police Forces of Aragon.

Resolutions 2026-3324 and 2026-3323, both dated October 1, 2026, resolve the appointment as career civil servants of the Special Administration Scale, Special Services Subscale, Local Police Class, designation Police, Group C, Subgroup C1, of the M.I. City Council of the City of Fraga. The announcement occupies page 14 of the gazette, under the heading “Appointments of Career Civil Servants” and bearing the seal of the municipal Secretariat.

The process from which these positions originate is the unified selection process for entry into the Local Police Forces of Aragon, in the category of Police, the call for which was published in the Official Gazette of Aragon (BOA) number 108, on June 9, 2025. That call included two Police positions for the Fraga City Council, to which two additional positions were later added.

Two positions expanded by decree

The expansion of the vacancies offered by the Fraga council was agreed upon through Mayoral Decree number 2025-2542, dated July 21, 2025. With that decision, the Fraga City Council went from the two positions initially included in the regional call to a total of four vacancies offered within the same unified selection process.

The two new civil servants

The appointments fall to two candidates who have passed the selection process:

• Javier Lizáldez Coloma, appointed as a career civil servant by resolution 2026-3324.
• Guillermo Benedí Pérez, appointed as a career civil servant by resolution 2026-3323.

Both join with the category of Police, classified in Group C, Subgroup C1, of the Special Administration Scale, Special Services Subscale, Local Police Class. The official publication identifies the interested parties by their full name and their partially hidden national identity document, in accordance with the data protection model used by the provincial gazette.

Publication and procedures

The announcement bears the CSV BOPH-2026-192009 and was signed in Fraga on October 5, 2026, by the mayor, Jose Ignacio Gramún Castillo. The insertion in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca number 192, of October 7, 2026, provides official publicity to the appointment and completes the administrative processing of the file.

With these two appointments, the Fraga Local Police reinforce their staff with personnel selected through the unified process of Aragon and consolidate as career civil servants two positions already included in the offer of the selective process itself. The publication in the official bulletin gives validity and publicity to the appointment of the two officers in the municipality.
