Por FactBox Admin

The Fraga City Council has agreed to submit for public review the ordinary works project in the surroundings of Avda. Aragón nº 196, a procedure that will allow residents and interested entities to submit allegations within a period of 20 business days. The decision is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca number 160, dated Monday, August 24, 2026, and is signed by the mayor, José Ignacio Gramún Castillo, dated August 20.
The project was submitted by Sicilia y Asociados Arquitectura SL, representing the developer Blasco Inversiones 2011 SLU, entering the municipal registry on August 12, 2026, at 6:46 PM, under number 2026-E-RE-4442.
Legal framework of the procedure
The public exhibition is based on article 131.2.a of the Recast Text of the Urban Planning Law of Aragon, approved by Legislative Decree 1/2014, of July 8, of the Government of Aragon. In accordance with this regulation, the project is announced both in the provincial gazette and on the Notice Board of the City Council itself.
The period of 20 business days is calculated from the day following the publication of the announcement, so that those who may consider themselves interested parties in the file may appear and formulate as many allegations, suggestions, or claims as they deem appropriate.
How to consult and object
During the public information period, the file remains available to interested parties through two channels:
- The electronic office of the Fraga City Council, accessible at fraga.sedelectronica.es.
- The municipal offices, where any interested party may examine the project during office hours.
Allegations may be submitted through any of the channels provided for in the administrative procedure regulations, within the specified period.
Relevance for residents
The action affects the surroundings of one of the city’s main roads, therefore the public information procedure constitutes the opportunity for residents and businesses in the area to learn the scope of the works and assert their observations before final approval. Citizen participation in this phase is decisive for adjusting the project to the needs of the neighborhood and preventing unforeseen impacts during execution.
