The Fraga City Council has appointed the members of the bidding committee that will resolve the competitive lease of plot 200 of polygon 6, which is municipally owned and intended for extractive use. The appointment was formalized by Mayoral Decree No. 2026-3234, dated September 24, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca No. 190, Monday, October 5, 2026, in the Local Administration section (official reference BOPH-2026-190002). With this step, the Council completes the administrative framework of the procedure and opens the door for the submission of bids by companies in the sector.

A plot of 20,543 square meters for resource extraction
The appointed committee responds to the bidding call published days earlier in the same gazette, issue number 189, Friday, October 2, 2026 (reference BOPH-2026-189015), under file 2913/2026. The essential details of the contract are as follows:

Evaluation criteria and submission of bids
The competition will be resolved using a scale of 100 points: the economic bid provides 90 points and the conditioning of the municipal access road to the property adds the remaining 10, depending on whether the response to that improvement is affirmative or negative.
Natural and legal persons, Spanish or foreign, with full capacity to act and without prohibition from contracting, may participate. The submission period is fifteen business days starting from the day following the publication of the tender notice in the Official Provincial Gazette and in the Contractor Profile. Bids shall be submitted electronically through the Public Sector Procurement Platform for entities obliged to interact electronically with the Administration, while those who are not may deliver the envelopes to the General Registry of the Fraga City Council, at Paseo Barrón number 11, or at the Post Offices.
The processing affects the extractive sector of Bajo Cinca, which gains a regulated procedure to access aggregates and resources of section A) on municipal land. The publication of the tender board confirms that the file is moving toward the effective opening of the bids, with a five-year term and a surface area relevant to the activity.
