Feria submits the regulations of its residential center to public consultation
Por FactBox Admin

The Feria City Council has initially approved the modification of the Internal Regulations of the residential and day care center for autonomous persons in the municipality. The agreement was adopted by the corporation’s Plenary Session on September 11, 2026, and is now published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz number 178, corresponding to Thursday, September 17, 2026, within the Local Administration section, under Announcement 3618/2026. With this publication, a 30-business-day public information period begins so that the file may be examined and any claims deemed appropriate may be submitted.
The processing complies with the provisions of articles 49 and 70.2 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, Regulating the Bases of the Local Regime, and article 56 of Royal Legislative Decree 781/1986, of April 18, which approves the revised text of the legal provisions in force regarding the Local Regime. The announcement is signed by the local mayor, Marcelo Pérez Perera, and directly affects the center’s users and their families, as it is the regulation that governs the coexistence and daily operation of the care resource.
One month to examine the file
The public exhibition period is 30 business days and is calculated from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz. During this period, interested parties may consult the file and formulate the claims they consider pertinent against the initially approved text.
The announcement does not limit participation to direct stakeholders. Within the same period, persons affected by the regulation, other individuals, and entities recognized by law that group or represent persons whose rights and legitimate interests may be affected by the modification, and who have a direct relationship with its object, may provide opinions and make additional contributions they deem appropriate.
Consultation via the electronic office
The documentation will be available to interested parties through two electronic channels of the Feria City Council:
- The municipal electronic office, accessible at https://feria.sedelectronica.es/.
- The transparency portal of the same council, at https://feria.sedelectronica.es/transparency/.
Effects if no claims are filed
The announcement itself determines that, in the event that no claims are filed against the file within the indicated period, the agreement will become final. This consequence is based on article 49 c) of Law 7/1985, of April 2, Regulating the Bases of the Local Regime.
Therefore, the initial approval does not close the procedure: the modification of the regulations will only be final if the public information period passes without challenges, or once any challenges that may be registered are resolved.
Impact for users and families
The regulation affects the daily life of the residential center and the day care service for autonomous persons in Feria, a resource upon which residents and their families directly depend. The open period is the only formal window for neighbors and representative entities to propose changes before the regulation is finalized, which is why the city council has enabled the consultation both in person and electronically.
