Por FactBox Admin

The Federal Public Service Strategy and Support (SPF BOSA) has published two comparative selection notices in the Moniteur Belge of 25 August 2026, opening recruitment for administrative experts at the Ministry of Defence and for financial-service attachés at the INASTI. Candidates may apply from 25 August until 8 September 2026 inclusive, through the federal recruitment portal.

The announcements appear under the heading of the SPF Stratégie et Appui in the official gazette, which is published in its 196th year, number 190, dated Tuesday 25 August 2026. Both selections are part of the federal civil service’s ongoing comparative recruitment procedures, in which laureates are ranked on a list that remains valid for a set period.

Selection for the Ministry of Defence

The first notice (official reference 2026/202143) opens a comparative selection of Dutch-speaking Administrative Management Experts (level B) for the Ministry of Defence, under selection number ANG26251. The detailed job description, covering the content of the function, participation conditions and the selection procedure, is available from the SPF BOSA via the recruitment website.

  • A list of laureates valid for 1 year is drawn up after the selection.
  • A specific list, valid for 4 years, is also established for persons with a disability who pass the selection.

Selection for the INASTI

The second notice (official reference 2026/202075) opens a comparative francophone selection for accession to level A (3rd series) for the INASTI, covering attachés of the financial service (m/f/x), under selection number BFG26045 (the Dutch-language counterpart is BNG26065). • The list of laureates is valid for 2 years and is drawn up after the selection.

Relevance for readers

These two notices offer concrete employment opportunities in the Belgian federal public service, one for external candidates seeking a level B post at the Ministry of Defence and the other for internal staff seeking promotion to level A at the INASTI. The short application window, closing on 8 September 2026, means interested candidates should act promptly, while the separate lists for persons with disabilities underline the federal administration’s commitment to inclusive recruitment.
