Federal Pensions Service opens selections for coordinators and data protection officers
Por FactBox Admin

The Federal Pensions Service (Service Fédéral des Pensions / Federale Pensioendienst) is recruiting project coordinators and data protection officers through four comparative selections at level A3, announced in the Moniteur Belge of Wednesday 19 August 2026 (196th year, No. 185). The notices, published on pages 45450 and 45451, open applications from 19 August to 2 September 2026 inclusive.
The selections are issued by the FPS Policy and Support (SPF Stratégie et Appui / FOD Beleid en Ondersteuning, BOSA), the federal body responsible for recruitment and selection across the public administration. Candidates apply online through the federal job portals www.werkenvoor.be (Dutch) and www.travaillerpour.be (French).
Four selections, two profiles
The four notices cover two job profiles, each offered separately for French-speaking and Dutch-speaking candidates:
- AFG26181 — French-speaking project coordinators (m/f/x), level A3, p. 45450 (ref. [2026/202117])
- ANG26234 — Dutch-speaking project coordinators (m/f/x), level A3, p. 45450 (ref. [2026/202120])
- MFG26019 — French-speaking data protection officers (m/f/x), level A3, p. 45451 (ref. [2026/202121])
- MNG26020 — Dutch-speaking data protection officers (m/f/x), level A3, p. 45451 (ref. [2026/202122])
How to apply
Candidates may submit their application from 19 August 2026 until 2 September 2026 inclusive via the federal recruitment portals. The detailed job description — covering the content of the function, participation conditions and the selection procedure — is available from BOSA through the same portals; applicants enter the selection number in the search engine to locate the relevant notice.
Selection and results
The list of laureates, drawn up without ranking, is composed of the candidates who best match the job description and the competence profile. This list is sent by the DG Recrutement et Développement to the President of the Management Committee of the Federal Pensions Service. In addition, a specific list of laureates with a disability who have passed the selection is established and remains valid for four years.
These openings give level A3 candidates a direct route into the federal civil service at a body that manages the Belgian statutory pension system, while reinforcing the service’s capacity in project delivery and in data-protection compliance. For jobseekers, the bilingual structure of the selections means opportunities are open to both French- and Dutch-speaking applicants, with a single application window closing on 2 September 2026.
