Facenda nomea o tribunal das oposicións de auxiliares de condución da Xunta

The Ministry of Finance and Public Administration has appointed the tribunal that will qualify the selection process for entry, through the competitive examination system, via the open access and internal promotion quotas, into the body of technical assistants of Special Administration of the general Administration of the Autonomous Community of Galicia, subgroup C2, driving assistant scale. The decision was recorded in the Resolution of October 15, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG) no. 198, of October 19, 2026, in section IV, Competitive Examinations and Contests, starting on page 53024. The appointment closes the previous organizational phase and leaves the process ready for the Ministry to set the calendar for the exercises.

The process had been convened by the Resolution of May 8, 2026, published in DOG no. 89, of May 15, 2026, as indicated by the text of the resolution now disseminated. The competence to sign is exercised by the Ministry through the General Directorate of Public Employment and Personnel Administration, by virtue of the delegation established in the Order of January 8, 2020 (DOG no. 16, of January 24). The document bears the signature of Nuria Aguilar Vázquez, General Director of Public Employment and Personnel Administration, and the official reference CVE-DOG: 6kogl1h4-4xx8-scd3-dpg8-sma5w9uf2ty7.

The resolution is limited to appointing the tribunal with the composition appearing in the annex, without yet fixing exam dates. The driving assistant scale is one of those that already have personnel in the destination selection phase: the Resolution of September 24, 2026 (DOG no. 186, of September 30) convened the selection of definitive destinations for persons who passed entry processes in that scale, among others.

Main Tribunal

The body in charge of qualifying the tests consists of five members:

  • Presidency: Luis Miguel Barreiro Ares, civil servant of the body of technical vocational training teachers.
  • Secretariat: José Antonio Cotelo Veira, civil servant of the management body of the general Administration of the Autonomous Community of Galicia, subgroup A2.
  • Member: María del Mar Quintela Rivadulla, of the general Administration management body, subgroup A2.
  • Member: Iria Seoane Leal, of the superior body of the general Administration of the Autonomous Community of Galicia, subgroup A1.
  • Member: Alberto Varela Castro, of the body of technical vocational training teachers.

Substitute Tribunal

To cover the absences of the main staff, the resolution designates an alternative body with the same structure:

  • Chairmanship: Jesús Fernández Díez, civil servant of the corps of technical vocational training teachers.
  • Secretariat: José Luis Soto Campos, of the administrative corps of the General Administration of the Autonomous Community of Galicia, subgroup C1.
  • Member: Antonio Tejada López, of the corps of technical vocational training teachers.
  • Member: María Soledad Fariñas Vila, of the management corps of the General Administration, subgroup A2.
  • Member: Natividad Silva González, of the superior corps of the General Administration, subgroup A1.

A framework shared with the technical driving scale

The same issue of the DOG publishes a twin resolution, also dated October 15, 2026, for the corps of optional assistants of Special Administration, subgroup C1, technical driving scale (p. 53026, reference CVE-DOG: oveciv22-qqu8-pj07-hkk1-lziye0c34ao7). In that case, the composition of the tribunal is identical, both in the titular and substitute panels, with the same people and the same professional categories. This coincidence is due to the fact that both scales refer to the driving of vehicles of the regional Administration and were announced on the same date in May 2026.

What it implies for the candidates

The appointment of the tribunal is the formal requirement that allows the convening body to approve and publish the testing calendar, as well as to resolve doubts and incidents that arise during the process. From this moment on, registered individuals must monitor the upcoming publications of the Department in the DOG, which will include the date, time, and place of the first exercise, as well as instructions for its execution.

The relevance of the news is direct for the applicants: the process ceases to be pending internal organization and enters the phase where deadlines begin to count. Any change in dates, composition, or qualification criteria must be published in the official bulletin itself, so the DOG remains the only valid reference against information from other channels.
