Finance adjusts the appointments of officials and awards definitive posts.
Por FactBox Admin

The Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG No. 153) publishes this Friday, 14 August, the Resolution of 7 August 2026 of the Regional Ministry of Finance and Public Administration, which modifies the resolutions of 24 July appointing career civil servants and awards definitive postings to those who passed selection processes called between 2019 and 2023. In the same edition, the Galician Health Service resolves the provision of a head of section post in the Health Area of Santiago de Compostela and Barbanza.
In DOG No. 139, of 27 July 2026, the resolutions of 24 July were published appointing career civil servants of the senior (A1), management (A2), administrative (C1), auxiliary (C2) corps and the subaltern staff scale, and awarding definitive postings to staff who had passed selection processes from previous years. The new resolution corrects and completes that package: it adjusts the annex of one appointment in the senior A1 corps and, above all, reduces the take-possession deadlines for staff re-entering active service, with effects on all resolutions published on 27 July. The processes that grant access to a definitive posting are:
- Orders of 5 March 2019, 22 November 2019 and 7 January 2020.
- Resolutions of 26 April and 12 May 2021, of 30 March, 9 and 22 June 2022, of 22 December 2022, and of 6 November and 15 December 2023.
Take-possession deadlines: from twenty working days to fifteen calendar days
The main novelty affects the incorporation calendar: when the award involves re-entry into active service, the take-possession deadline will be 15 calendar days counted from 15 September 2026, instead of the 20 working days initially provided. The measure is justified in article 8.1 of Decree 151/2022, of 4 August, approving the mobility regulation for civil servants, and in Resolution of 6 July 2026 (DOG No. 128, of 10 July), which declares urgency and reduces deadlines in selection processes resolved during the summer period, between July and September. It will apply to all resolutions published on 27 July 2026.
A correction in the annex of the senior corps A1
The resolution modifies the posting assigned to the candidate with election order number 1934, Jennifer Álvarez Silva (DNI *8010):
- Where the post of sports technician appeared (code SAC030000215770046, S. X. of Healthy Lifestyles, General Directorate of Public Health), now a base post of subgroup A1 (code SAC040000015770010) appears in the General Directorate of Health Planning and Reform.
- The posting remains in Santiago de Compostela, with level 20.
Against this resolution, which ends the administrative route, an optional appeal for reconsideration may be filed with the regional minister within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed with the Administrative Litigation Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Galicia within two months. The document is signed, by delegation, by Nuria Aguilar Vázquez, Director General of Public Employment and Personnel Administration.
New section head at Sergas
The Management of the Sanitary Area of Santiago de Compostela and Barbanza has resolved the public call, initiated by the Resolution of March 4, 2026 (DOG No. 49, of March 13), for the provision of the position of head of section of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation-Locomotor System, Lymphedema and Innovation:
- Person appointed: Bibiana Villamayor Blanco (ID *2894).
- She must cease in the post she currently holds within three business days and take possession of the new post within the following two business days, with the possibility of extension due to service needs.
- Against the resolution, signed by the manager Ángel Facio Villanueva, an appeal may be filed before the General Directorate of Human Resources of the Galician Health Service within one month.
With these publications, the Xunta consolidates the effective incorporation of personnel who passed selective processes accumulated since 2019, unifies the schedule for taking possession after the summer, and reinforces the section headships of Compostela’s public health system, in a far-reaching operation for the regional administration.
