The Regional Government of Extremadura (Junta de Extremadura) has opened the hearing and public information process for the draft decree modifying the regulatory bases for modernization grants for self-employed workers and micro-SMEs. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of Extremadura (Diario Oficial de Extremadura) number 198, dated October 14, 2026, via the Resolution of October 6, 2026, from the General Secretariat of the Department of Economy, Employment and Digital Transformation (reference 2026062553). Interested parties have 15 business days to examine the text and submit allegations.

The project modifies Decree 79/2024, of July 23, which establishes the regulatory bases for grants for modernization investments by self-employed workers and micro-SMEs in Extremadura. The opening of the process is agreed upon under article 66.3 of Law 1/2002, of February 28, of the Government and Administration of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, once the text of the draft decree has been prepared.

The resolution was signed in Mérida on October 6, 2026, by the Secretary General, Juan Andrés Moreno Martín. The text submitted for consultation affects the bases governing the subsidies destined for modernization investments of self-employed workers and micro-enterprises in Extremadura.
