Extremadura nombra la vocalía de las ayudas a la misión comercial Vietnam

The General Directorate of Competitive Intelligence and Trade of the Regional Government of Extremadura has appointed José Antonio Gómez Barroso as a full member of the Evaluation Commission for grants for grouped participation in the Direct Trade Mission Vietnam 2026. The appointment is formalized through a resolution signed on September 29, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette of Extremadura (DOE) no. 195, dated October 8, 2026, with official reference 2026062513.

The resolution is issued by virtue of Decree 137/2024, of November 5, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of aid by Extremadura Avante Servicios Avanzados a Pymes, SLU aimed at the international promotion of Extremaduran SMEs. Article 12 of said regulation governs the appointment of the members of the Evaluation Commission responsible for assessing the submitted applications.

The appointment implements the provisions of the tenth ordinal of the Agreement of August 28, 2026, by which grants for grouped participation in the Direct Trade Mission Vietnam 2026 were announced, identified with the code MCD26VIETNAM and published in the DOE no. 174, dated September 9, 2026.

The appointed membership

The text resolves to appoint José Antonio Gómez Barroso, a General Administration technician of the Foreign Trade, Internationalization, Markets and Competition Service, assigned to the General Directorate of Competitive Intelligence and Trade, as a full member of the Evaluation Commission in the capacity of member.

The resolution also provides for a substitution regime in cases of vacancy, absence, illness, or other legal cause. In such cases, the membership will be held by Isabel Sancho González, Head of the Commercial Promotion Section of the same service.

Substitutions and signature

The document details that the substitute also belongs to the Foreign Trade, Internationalization, Markets and Competition Service of the General Directorate of Competitive Intelligence and Trade, thereby ensuring the continuity of the evaluating body throughout the procedure.

The resolution is dated in Mérida on September 29, 2026, and bears the signature of the Director General of Competitive Intelligence and Trade, Laura Pascual Nebreda.

Background of other calls

The appointment follows the model applied in previous calls from the same general directorate, which have appointed equivalent memberships for various foreign promotion programs:

  • PLMA Chicago Fair 2026, code FI26PLMACH, convened by agreement of July 21, 2026, and published in DOE no. 143, of July 27, 2026.
  • Direct Trade Mission Hong Kong 2026, code MCD26HONG, convened by agreement of July 29, 2026, and published in DOE no. 151, of August 6, 2026.
  • Food Ingredients Fair 2026, code FI26FOODAL, convened by agreement of August 11, 2026, and published in DOE no. 166, of August 27, 2026.

In all three cases, the titular membership was also held by José Antonio Gómez Barroso, with Isabel Sancho González as alternate.

The publication is of direct interest to Extremaduran SMEs applying for the MCD26VIETNAM program, as it establishes who will evaluate their applications and, therefore, who will propose the granting of aid for grouped participation in the Vietnamese mission. With the membership filled, the Evaluation Commission is now in a position to process the files submitted under the call.
