Extremadura inicia la revocación de ayudas a diez jóvenes agricultores

The General Directorate of Community Agricultural Policy of the Regional Government of Extremadura has agreed to initiate the revocation procedure for establishment grants for young farmers for ten farm owners who did not submit the mandatory payment application within the deadline. The agreement, adopted by resolution of the general directorate, also includes the opening of a hearing process for those affected. It is published via an announcement dated October 23, 2026, in the Official Gazette of Extremadura (DOE) number 211, dated November 3, 2026, with official reference 2026081839.

The framework for the decision is Decree 169/2024, of December 30, which establishes the regulatory bases and application rules for the system of grants for the establishment of young farmers and for investments in the modernization and improvement of agricultural holdings, and which articulated the first call for both lines. Article 24 of the decree authorizes the Administration to carry out notifications and communications through the publication of an announcement in the DOE, the formula chosen in this case to provide greater effectiveness to the notices sent to the applicants.

Article 32.1 of Decree 169/2024 obliges the beneficiary to submit the payment application once the actions and expenses of the initial year of the business plan have been carried out and, in any case, within fifteen days following the expiration of the scheduled deadlines. Paragraph 5 of the same article stipulates that, once the justification period has elapsed without submission, the instructing body shall require the beneficiary to provide it within a non-extendable period of ten business days, and that the failure to submit or insufficient justification “will lead to the revocation of the granting resolution.”

Ten holdings identified

The annex of the announcement lists the ten owners to whom the initiation agreement and the hearing process are communicated, identified by name and by the partial digits of their CIF:

  • CAMPOS GORDILLO, LORENZO LUIS
  • CARRILLO CABANILLAS, CARLOS
  • MASERO GARCIA, JULIAN FERNANDO
  • BLANCO FERNANDEZ, FRANCISCO
  • ESTOQUERA BAEZ, DAVID
  • MARTIN SOLETO, DAVID
  • TEJADO CUADRADO, CARLOS
  • TRIGO CANO, BLAS
  • CORTES GALLARDO, RAFAEL
  • BATUECAS GARRIDO, ENRIQUE

In all their files, according to the official text, the aforementioned deadlines have elapsed without the corresponding payment applications being submitted, which triggers the revocation pursuant to Article 32.5 of the decree.

A sequence that is already building precedents

The publication is not an isolated event. DOE number 161, dated August 20, 2026, already included an announcement from August 13 regarding commencement agreements and revocation hearing procedures covered under the same Decree 169/2024. DOE number 185, dated September 24, 2026, in turn published the list of file holders for whom a revocation resolution had already been issued, following the mandatory procedures including the hearing for the interested parties.

The announcement of October 23, 2026, is signed in Mérida by the Head of the Structural Aid Service, Antonio Jesús Pi Pérez, and affects co-financed aid within the scope of the common agricultural policy.

Electronic notification and submission of documents

Interested parties may access the full content of the agreement through the individual notification processed on the LABOREO platform, accessible at laboreo.juntaex.es. The required documentation may be submitted electronically via the ARADO platform, at aradoacceso.juntaex.es, provided that the holder possesses a digital certificate or electronic ID (DNIe).

The hearing process opens the way for those affected to submit allegations and provide the pending justification before the final revocation resolution is issued.

Closing

The practical consequence for the ten designated holders is the loss of the grant awarded for their installation as young farmers if they do not prove the execution and expenditure of the business plan, which may compromise the viability of their holdings at the start of their activity. The announcement confirms that the Junta de Extremadura is tightening the circle on grants awarded under Decree 169/2024 that have not been justified—a control mechanism that has already resulted in firm revocations and affects a growing number of beneficiaries in the region.
