The Official Gazette of Extremadura publishes this Tuesday, October 13, 2026, in issue number 197, the announcement of October 2 notifying the agreement to initiate the procedure for the reimbursement of a grant and the opening of the hearing process in file AG-24-056, held by the company Embutidos Farcedo, SL. The file was processed under Decree 87/2024, of July 30, regarding the regulatory bases for the granting of agro-industrial incentives in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura. The resolution was signed in Mérida on October 2, 2026, by the Head of the Agro-Food Industry Aid Service, Jesús Miguel Pérez Durán.
An agro-industrial incentive file from 2024
Decree 87/2024, of July 30 (published in the DOE no. 161, of August 20), establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of agro-industrial incentives in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura to support investments aimed at the processing and marketing of agricultural products, and incorporates its sole call for the 2024 financial year. The affected file, AG-24-056, falls within this framework of aid.
The announcement is issued in application of the provisions of article 29 and following of the aforementioned decree, article 43 and following of Law 6/2011, of March 23, on Grants of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, and in accordance with articles 45 and 82 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
The official text does not detail the amount of the affected grant nor the specific reasons supporting the initiation of the reimbursement, details which are included in the full content of the individual notification.
Fifteen business days to appeal electronically
The notification opens a hearing process so that the company holding the file may submit allegations and provide the documents and justifications it deems appropriate. The enabled deadlines and channels are as follows:
- Deadline: 15 business days starting from the day following the notification.
- Allegations: to be submitted through the ARADO platform, via the procedure “Submission of documentation for EAFRD grants NO SIG – INVESTMENTS”.
- Access to the full text: through the individual notification with personalized keys on the LABOREO platform.
- File: AG-24-056, with Embutidos Farcedo, SL as the holder.
Mandatory electronic notification
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 14 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, legal entities are required to use electronic means in their relations with public administrations. Consequently, the beneficiary company must attend to the notification and, where applicable, submit its allegations through the electronic channels indicated in the announcement.
The notified agreement does not constitute a final resolution on the merits: it initiates the reimbursement procedure and opens the hearing phase prior to the proposed resolution.
Impact on the agro-industrial sector
The publication in the DOE publicizes a reimbursement file within the agro-industrial incentive line of the 2024 call, an instrument aimed at financing investments in the transformation and marketing of agricultural products in the region. For the companies benefiting from these grants, the announcement serves as a reminder that failure to comply with the granting conditions may trigger the revocation and reimbursement of the funds received, with the requirement to respond to the administration’s requests within the established deadlines and via electronic means.
