Extremadura extends PAC appeals until September 7

The General Directorate of Community Agricultural Policy of the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Natural Environment has extended until the next September 7, 2026, the deadline to submit allegations and provide documentary evidence regarding the results of the preliminary controls of phases E1 and E2 of the Area Monitoring System for the single aid application for the 2026/2027 campaign. This is recorded in the Official Gazette of Extremadura (DOE) number 172, of September 4, 2026, via an announcement dated September 1, 2026 (reference 2026081488).

The measure, adopted by resolution on September 1, 2026, replaces the deadline initially set for August 31 and applies to all Extremaduran farmers and livestock breeders who have detected incidents—the so-called yellow or red “traffic lights”—in the monitoring system of their plots.

An extended deadline to rectify incidents

The extension responds to the evolution of the 2026/2027 campaign and seeks to facilitate the correct rectification of incidents detected in the Area Monitoring System for farm holders. The new deadline affects both reason 5 (“Modifications due to Monitoring”) and reason 8 (“Monitoring Documentation,” referring to georeferenced photographs).

The decision modifies the deadlines set in the previous announcements of June 15, 2026, and July 30, 2026, published in DOE numbers 119 and 152, of June 23 and August 7, respectively.

Regulatory framework and scope

The extension is supported by article 8.5 of Decree 3/2025, of January 21, which regulates the specialties of the single aid application in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura and the procedures derived from the basic income support for sustainability, other direct payments to agriculture, and the application of the Rural Development Program (DOE no. 16, of January 24, 2025).

The new deadline will apply mandatorily to all aid applications containing interventions included in the National Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) of the Kingdom of Spain 2023-2027 based on areas.

How to submit allegations

The processing and consultation of the provisional monitoring result files are carried out through the SGA Citizen Portal, at the link https://sga.juntaex.es/SgaGpi, 2026 campaign, following the path “File Consultation” – “Single Application Files”, section “Additional Information” – “Monitoring”.

• Access can be made using a username and password, with a digital certificate, or through the Collaborating Entities authorized by the interested parties.
• The announcement was signed in Mérida on September 1, 2026, by the Head of the Sectoral Aid Service, Vicente Cruz Galeano.

The extension of the deadline is key for thousands of farmers and livestock breeders in Extremadura, who will have an additional week to correct the incidents detected by the monitoring system and thus avoid the loss of CAP subsidies in a campaign marked by the digitalization of on-the-ground controls.
