The Official Gazette of Extremadura publishes this Friday, October 30, 2026, in issue number 210, the modification of the summary and announcement publicizing the increase in credits for the 2025/2026 call for grants aimed at promoting stable employment and reducing labor costs for companies in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura. The expansion amounts to 5,000,000.00 euros, bringing the total amount of the call to 37,000,000.00 euros. The announcement is identified by the official reference 2026062753.
A call open since October 2025
The call that is now being expanded was approved by the Resolution of October 15, 2025, of the General Secretariat, and its summary was published in the Official Gazette of Extremadura number 206, of October 27, 2025, with the identification code BDNS 863688 in the National Grants Database. The aid is governed by Decree 29/2024, of April 2, which establishes the regulatory bases.
The processing complies with article 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Grants Law 38/2003, of November 17, and articles 29.3 and 39.4 of the Grants Law 6/2011, of March 23, of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura. This latter provision requires, for variations in amounts in direct award calls, the modification of the expenditure file following a report from the General Comptroller and the publication of an announcement in the DOE and on the Grants Portal with the total credits distributed by projects and budgetary applications.
Two aid regimes and three programs
The distribution distinguishes between two European compatibility frameworks, which together total 37 million:
- 35,500,000.00 euros for aid granted in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/2831, of December 13, 2023.
- 1,500,000.00 euros for aid covered by Commission Regulation (EU) No 1408/2013, of December 18, 2013.
By program, the credits are as follows: Programs I and IV, 35,610,000.00 euros; Program II, 1,010,000.00 euros; Program III, 380,000.00 euros.
How credits are distributed by annuality
- 2025 Annuity: 4,987,850.00 euros from the first regime and 230,950.00 euros from the second.
- 2026 Annuity: 30,512,150.00 euros from the first regime and 1,269,050.00 euros from the second.
- Programs I and IV: 4,978,850.00 euros in 2025 and 29,321,150.00 euros in 2026 charged to Regulation (EU) 2023/2831; 230,950.00 and 1,079,050.00 euros in each annuity charged to Regulation (EU) No 1408/2013.
- Program II: 9,000.00 euros in 2025 and 891,000.00 euros in 2026 in the first regime; 110,000.00 euros in 2026 in the second.
- Program III: no credit in 2025 and 300,000.00 euros in 2026 in the first regime; 80,000.00 euros in 2026 in the second.
The amounts are allocated to the budget application 140130000/G/242A/47000, charged to various expenditure projects (TE24001001/20160276, CAG0000001/20080264, FS21411A02/20230060 and TE24007005/20250502 and 20250503) and to the Alcántara call files CONVO/2025/0000005335, CONVO/2025/0000005336 and CONVO/2025/0000005337.
Signature of the announcement
The announcement is dated in Mérida on October 14, 2026, and is signed by Nicolás Macías Manzanedo, secretary general of the Extremeño Public Employment Service (SEXPE), by virtue of the delegation approved by the Resolution of May 29, 2026, of the General Secretariat of the Regional Ministry of Economy, Employment and Digital Transformation, published in DOE number 108, of June 8.
The extension increases by one-fifth the initial ceiling of a call that began with 32 million euros and provides more margin for Extremaduran companies requesting support to consolidate staff and reduce labor costs. As the 2025/2026 call remains open, the new amounts apply both to files currently being processed and to those submitted until the end of the period, which reinforces the regional policy of employment stability.
