Expropiaciones para cerrar el Anillo Insular de Tenerife: citados 26 titulares

The Department of Public Works, Housing and Mobility of the Government of the Canary Islands has summoned the owners of the assets and rights affected by the El Tanque-Santiago del Teide section for the drawing up of the records prior to occupation and, where applicable, the records of occupation. The summons is formalized by the edict of September 17, 2026, from the General Directorate of Road Infrastructure, published in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands no. 195, of September 29, 2026, section V. Announcements, Other announcements, pages 35622-35626 (reference: 3370). The file refers to the project “Update of the construction project: New project for the El Tanque-Santiago del Teide section (Closing of the Tenerife Insular Ring)”.

The procedure is supported by sections 2 and 3 of article 52 of the Law on Compulsory Expropriation, of December 16, 1954, and article 56.2 of its Regulations, approved by Decree of April 26, 1957. Once these formalities are completed, the Department resolves to carry out the occupation and taking of possession of the affected assets and rights.

Interested parties may appear in person or through a representative and may be accompanied by an expert and a notary, at their own expense, with DNI (ID) and documents proving ownership. Those who do not appear in the list of affected parties may submit allegations, via article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, until the time the prior records are drawn up, in order to correct possible errors in the list.

Three municipalities, three venues and three calendars

The edict will be notified to the mayoralties of El Tanque, Los Silos, and Santiago del Teide, and will be published in the Official State Gazette, in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands, on the notice boards of the three city councils, on the notice board of the Department’s electronic headquarters, and in two provincial newspapers. Publication in the Official State Gazette serves as notification to unknown interested parties or those with an unknown address, in accordance with article 44 of Law 39/2015.
