Estadilla reopens the call for three positions via internal promotion

The Estadilla City Council has corrected and reopened the call to fill three positions within its permanent staff through internal promotion, according to respective corrections of errors published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca number 152, dated August 20, 2026. The measure, adopted by Mayoral resolution, affects two Multiple Services Operator positions and one Management Technician position, and opens a period of 20 business days to submit applications.

The corrections, signed by the Mayor-President Pilar Lleyda Zanuy, modify the first paragraph of the third clause of the rules originally published in BOP number 142, dated July 28, 2026. With this Thursday’s publication, the application period is reopened, counting from the day following its appearance in the provincial gazette.

Two corrected announcements

The correction is processed in two separate announcements, one for each selection process:

• BOPH-2026-158003: correction of errors for announcement no. 3362, regarding the rules for filling two Multiple Services Operator positions through internal promotion.
• BOPH-2026-158004: correction of errors for announcement no. 3363, regarding the filling of one Management Technician position through internal promotion.

Both processes are called for permanent employment status and via a merit-based competition system, and the remainder of the rules remain as published on July 28.

How to submit applications

Applications must state that all and each of the conditions required in the second clause are met, adhering to the model in Annex I, and shall be addressed to the Mayor-President of the Estadilla City Council. They may be submitted:

• At the General Registry of the City Council.
• Through any of the forms provided for in Article 16 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

The deadline is 20 business days counting from the day following the publication of the correction in the gazette. If the last day is a non-working day, the deadline will be extended until the first following business day. The call will also be published on the Notice Board and on the City Council’s website.

Relevance for residents

The reopening of these calls represents a new opportunity for the council’s own staff to progress within the municipal scale, in a small municipality where internal promotion is a common way of consolidating staff. Interested parties must be mindful of the deadline calculation, which begins immediately after publication in the provincial gazette.
