Estadilla announces three public employment positions in its 2026 OPE

The Estadilla City Council has approved the guidelines for three public employment calls to fill, through a competitive examination system in the open category, single positions for Early Childhood Education Teacher-Director, Early Childhood Education Technician, and Administrative Assistant-Library, all of which include the creation of a job pool. The guidelines were approved by Mayoral Resolutions No. 453, 454, and 455, all dated August 20, 2026, and are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca number 159, dated Friday, August 21, 2026.

The three positions are included in the Public Employment Offer for the 2026 fiscal year, approved by Plenary Agreement on June 17, 2026, and published in BOP number 139, dated July 23, 2026. The first two positions are designated for the municipality’s first-cycle Early Childhood Education Classroom (0 to 3 years), while the third reinforces administrative services and the municipal library.

The three announced positions

Each call falls under a different group and subgroup of the labor staff plantilla, with their corresponding remuneration and supplements:

• Early Childhood Education Teacher-Director (reference BOPH-2026-159002): Group A, Subgroup A2. Requires a Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Specialist Teacher in Early Childhood Education, or EGB Teacher specializing in Preschool.
• Early Childhood Education Technician (reference BOPH-2026-159003): Group C, Subgroup C1. Accepts Specialist Technician in Kindergarten, Higher Technician in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent qualifications.
• Administrative Assistant-Library (reference BOPH-2026-159004): Group C, Subgroup C2. Requires a Graduate in Compulsory Secondary Education or equivalent.

Requirements and submission of applications

Applicants must meet the general requirements of Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30, which approves the revised text of the Law of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee: Spanish nationality, functional capacity, minimum age of 16, no criminal record for sexual offenses, and payment of the examination fee.

Applications shall be submitted to the General Registry of the City Council or through any of the channels specified in Article 16 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, within a period of 20 business days starting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the BOPH. The examination fee is set at 15.90 euros, to be deposited into the Ibercaja account ES76 2085 2157 74 0300260803.

Functions and selection process

The duties of early childhood education staff include the comprehensive care of children, the programming and evaluation of educational activities, contact with families, and center coordination. The administrative assistant assumes tasks of registration, processing of files, loan management, and cataloging of bibliographic funds, as well as the organization of cultural activities and reading promotion.

Following the application period, the Mayor’s Office will approve the provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates, which will be published on the notice board, on the City Council’s electronic headquarters, and in the BOP, with a period of ten business days for corrections. The call for applications is also published on the municipal website.

The opening of these three positions represents an opportunity for those seeking public employment in the Somontano de Barbastro and, at the same time, guarantees the continuity of the 0 to 3 years classroom service and the municipal library, upon which user families and the residents of Estadilla depend.
