Esplugues tenders the sale of a property on Carme Street via public competition

The Local Government Board of the Esplugues de Llobregat City Council has approved the file for the alienation through a tender of the property located at carrer Carme, 78-82 / carrer 13 Rosas, 8, identified as resulting property 21 of the reparceling Project of the ARE Montesa. The agreement was adopted in the ordinary session of October 5, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on October 8, 2026, with the reference CVE 202610150957. Interested parties have 30 calendar days to submit offers from the publication of the call on the municipal Contractor Profile.

The published text transcribes the agreement of the municipal governing body in three points and frames it within the procedure of asset alienation by tender, with publicity and competition. The announcement is signed by the mayor Eduard Sanz García in Esplugues de Llobregat, on October 6, 2026.

The operation is part of the reparceling Project of the ARE Montesa, the urban transformation area from which the property subject to the tender derives. The tender is therefore resolved on municipal land coming from this project and not on an isolated plot.

The three points of the agreement

• SECOND: to approve the Particular Administrative Clauses Specification governing the tender, annexed to the agreement.
• THIRD: to publish the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona and on the Contractor Profile, with a deadline of 30 calendar days.

A recent precedent in the same sector

The same reparceling project had already prompted a previous tender. The Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on August 4, 2026, published the tender for resulting property 23, at carrer de les 13 Rosas, 2, with a deadline of 45 calendar days and the reference CVE 202610130740. That announcement was signed by the acting mayor Claudia Acebrón Morales.

The difference in deadlines between both competitions —45 calendar days in August and 30 calendar days now— is the only relevant variation emerging from the published texts, which do not detail the surface area or the type of bidding for the property.

The operation is of interest to investors and neighbors because it puts municipal land on the market in a consolidated area of urban transformation, and because the result of the competition will condition the development of the resulting property 21 of the ARE Montesa and the final layout of the surroundings of Carme Street.
